The Acer i-Sight is a premium series of stainless steel putters combining classic designs with new age ideas. The key feature is the alignment feature. Located in the center of the cavity, the side walls of the raised alignment bar are painted red. If you only see one red side wall, then your eyes are either too far inside or over the line of sight which will make it more difficult to hole your putt. However, if you see both red sides with the putter resting on the ground at the center of the sole, you know your eyes are directly over the line of sight and more likely to drain your putt. Each Acer i-Sight putter features an exquisite silver glass bead finish and the face has been CNC milled with horizontal micro-grooves giving the machined look of today's high end putters. This model is dedicated specifically for belly putters or those that prefer a heavier head weight at conventional lengths.

    • If you put a standard 35" shaft in this will the Lie be off
    • Brandon,

The lie on a belly putter is the same as a standard putter so you are fine. The Santa Cruz (long putter) is the only one that would create an odd lie angle at that length.

    • I am thinking of building a counterbalanced putter with this putter head. Will this be a good choice? If so any suggestions would be appreciated. Amount of weight?
    • Larry,

The weight and the standard lie angle would make for an excellent choice for a counterbalanced putter.

    • I made a counterbalance out of this with the long Winn grip and extra butt weight at 38". I never got used to it but like the CS and milled face so I screwed up and cut the middle out taking 40g off and it looks good. Put a 34" shaft in there and superstroke grip and it all felt good until I putted with. I should have read here first to see the lie would be off. That is correct the toe sits up. Good looking putter though and good feel. Just a shame.
    • You may be able to bend the shaft with a putter bending bar and flatten it some. Of course the Santa Rosa putters are dirt cheap now...

    • Ca I use this head as a side saddle putter??
    • Your best best is the i-Sight Santa Cruz as the lie angle is 79º and more suitable for a side-saddle stroke than the Santa Rosa.
