The Acer i-Sight is a premium series of stainless steel putters combining classic designs with new age ideas. The key feature is the alignment feature. Located in the center of the cavity, the side walls of the raised alignment bar are painted red. If you only see one red side wall, then your eyes are either too far inside or over the line of sight which will make it more difficult to hole your putt. However, if you see both red sides with the putter resting on the ground at the center of the sole, you know your eyes are directly over the line of sight and more likely to drain your putt. Each Acer i-Sight putter features an exquisite silver glass bead finish and the face has been CNC milled with horizontal micro-grooves giving the machined look of today's high end putters. This model is dedicated specifically for long putters.

      • Can you put a conventional length shaft on it for the sale price? Thanks.
      • Ben,

The web page you were at is for the component head only, but we can assemble the club (look under assembled golf clubs_custom clubs_putters). You would have to call in the order since a conventional length shaft is not on the drop down menu as well as tell us what length and what grip you would like to use. Note that this will yield a very upright putter.

      • I am interested in a "Mat Kuchar" style putter with the shaft placed along the leading forearm. (I am left handed). Would either the LH Santa Rose or LH Santa Cruz putter head be suitable for this?

Also, does this style of putter require much adjustment to the lie angle and/or loft?

Would you be able to assemble such a beast?

      • David,

It depends upon the length you want to make the club. In Matt Kuchar's case, the putter is mid-length (41") so it has a normal lie angle like the Acer Santa Rosa. The key to the putter Matt K. is using is the loft (7 degrees) to account for the forward lean. Because you can't change the loft (has to be built in), you can use this grip:

Being LH, the grip would need to be reversed.
