Questions on Apollo Acculite 75 Steel
- From Captain Hook at 2/5/13 5:01 PM
- Can this shaft be trimmed to make the tip stiffer and reduce shot height?
- Captain Hook,
There is ample parallel tip length to trim additionally - assuming you have enough on the other end for your target length. However, the amount of additional trimming will only slightly reduce ball flight as the shaft is a very high launching shaft. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No

- Can I trim the tip less than standard and make the R flex an M or Senior flex?
- Harry,
Yes you could, but you may find that these shaft run softer than any other R-flex on the market. I might suggest shafting your longest iron first. If it is too stiff, you can take it out (of let's say a 4-iron) and put it in 5 iron or 6 iron which is essentially taking less off of the tip. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
