Details

The Power Play Warp Speed Brassie Golf Fairway Wood is a special shallow faced control tee golf club and a club to use in the fairway when you have a good lie and need the maximum distance to reach a par 5 or long par 4. Very large footprint at address makes this high-MOI fairway wood golf clubhead (24% more forgiving than a typical 3 wood) and lower lofted to produce a flatter trajectory with less spin for added distance. Simply one of the best fairway woods you will ever hit. Features a brass PVD finish on the face and sole.

Comes with Free Power Play fairway wood headcover!

Questions on Power Play Warp Speed Brassie Fairway Wood - Custom Assembled

    • From Bob at 9/27/13 3:06 AM
      • How does the brassie compare to a Tour Edge 3 wood (most current edition) in distance? Is the club available with a senior flex shaft? Is a 5 wood loft also available in this club?
      • Bob,

We have never done a head to head withe the Brassie compared to the Tour Edge (I am assuming Exotics) 3 wood. Even if we did, each player may see a difference in distance and accuracy because it is all dependent on how well the fit is. The Exotics is using, well more exotic materials in the face, so ball speed should be higher on it. The Brassie can be assembled with a senior shaft from various manufacturers we stock. There is no matching #5 wood in this series.

      • I would like to order the Acer xs Titanium 12deg driver & the Power play Brassie 3 wood for del to the UK would you be good enough to tell me the cost of shipping ,and also when they will be available,as they show" not in stock" on your web site.I also understand the cost of the clubs depend on what spec I have Many Thanks John Stead.
      • John:

You will need to email customer service at support@hirekogolf.com and ask for a shipping quote. We will need you full address along with preferred carrier (Fed Ex, USPS, etc.) and whether you want standard delivery or express. It would only be an estimate if you were to change the weight or the grip or shafts other than stock as that could affect the overall weight of the package.

We have more to arrive @ April 15th, but those might like all go to fill the back orders.

      • How does the Brassie compare to the Raw power X2 fairway wood?
      • Bob,

The Brassie is somewhat an offshoot of what we learned from constructing the Caiman Raw Power 3 wood. We have the same forged thin face made of a specialty material for the added distance. However, that is where the similarities stop. The Brassie is the same weight as a standard 3-wood, while the Raw Power 3-wood is designed to be the playing length of a 5-wood for those with control problems. The Brassie also has a much, much larger footprint making it more forgiving on off-center shots. Lastly, you have the loft difference of 13º vs. 15º. As you can see, they are quite a bit different.

    • From GLW at 2/23/13 10:30 AM
      • Is the Brassie supposed to be a club like the Thriver? Is it supposed to improve accuracy/consistancy?
      • The Brassie is more versatile. The Thriver is relegated to a tee club only where as the Brassie can also be hit off the ground due to the shallow face height. The large footprint makes the Brassie the most forgiving 3 wood in our line for of-center shots.
