Product Video

The Dynacraft Driving Iron features a thin, special vacuum heat treated, high-strength forged 17-4 stainless steel face with variable thickness to push high COR to the maximum limits. The hollow-bodied construction positions weight low and rearward for advanced perimeter weighting and a more piercing driving trajectory than a comparable lofted fairway wood. It is designed primarily as a control club off of the tee, but can be an option for approach shots from the fairway from preferred lies.

Club Loft Lie Offset Standard Length* Available
#2 Driving Iron 18º 59.5º 4.2 mm 39.5" RH
#3 Driving Iron 21º 60º 4.0 mm 39" RH

* Men's standard length with steel shaft.  Ladies length is 1" less. Graphite shafts are an additional 1/2" longer.

      • What's the club's loft and what is the club length for a Men's standard?

      • Tom,

Loft is 18 degrees and the suggested men's playing length for graphite is 40".

      • What's standard play length. Not mentioned in your specs.
      • Charles,

We are still working on this web page, but the standard men's length with a graphite shaft is 40".

    • From Mark at 1/16/2014 12:02 PM
      • Can loft and lie be adjusted? If so, how many degrees?
      • Mark,

The lie can be adjusted +/-2 degrees from the published specification.

      • What's the suggested handicap range for this club ?

      • Sven,

A safe bet would be those with handicaps of 15 or less. However, you will occasionally find players that might be higher than that who fares well with an iron as opposed to a hybrid or fairway wood. So I wouldn't necessarily pigeon-hole it to a specific handicap range only as this is a niche product that is an alternative to those who need accuracy from the tee.

    • From Hector at 7/16/2014 7:33 PM
      • Your standard assembly is with a graphite shaft, is there a reason for it? Are there any issues if I pair this head with a KBS shaft for example?

      • Hector,

We had to chose one material over another, so we picked graphite as it is the most commonly found in utility clubs today. But there is no reason why you can't you steel. The only consideration is that the standard length will be 1/2" shorter than what is suggested in the specifications.
