Golf Tips Editors Pick Award for Power Play Warp Speed IronGolf Tips Magazine gave The Power Play Warp Speed Irons an Editor's Pick award in their 2013 Annual Buyer's Guide. Golf Tips said "Wow factor: A crazy low price for a set of irons as good as more, ahem, expensive irons we've tried."

The Warp Speed irons were specially designed to propel the ball faster and further than ever before, featuring a high C.O.R. face for the ultimate in distance. Although distance is very important in an iron design, accuracy plays an even more prominent role and the Warp Speed delivers here as well. Progressively designed, the #3 and #4-iron possess a wider body to react much like a cross between modern day hybrids, utility or driving irons for ease of play. The #5 iron and down on into the wedges appear much like a normal iron design at first glance. However, there is actually an open space between the rear wall and the unsupported, super thin specialty face insert, which is devised to flex the face like a titanium driver to maximize ball speed and distance. The undercut channel further moves weight back away from the face as well as low for added stability.

Questions on Power Play Warp Speed Hybrid Iron - Custom Assembled

    • From Bruce at 5/2/15 7:20 PM
      • From a distance per shot perspective, how does this flex face club compare to the newer XV and XV HT clubs, all other club customization between the 3 being equal?

        Thank you
      • Bruce,

It could be as much as a half a club but realize not everyone will see the same increase because the centers of gravity are not the same.

      • Hi planning on buying a set of irons. I'm curious. I know its hard to recommend blindly so i will take any advice with a grain of salt. That said if you had to make a recommendation, what shaft would you recommend for a 6'3' well built man whose swing speed is in 105 range with distance and a med-high launch being the main desirables?
      • David,

What iron head, shaft and flex have you been currently playing and how do you hit it now? For instance, is the ball flight too high, too low or about right. Plus how does it feel (too heavy, too light, too flexible, too stiff or just about right)?

      • Will you be getting new stock of #5 and #7 irons be back in stock? If so, when?
      • Ryan,

We should be getting our next shipment on March 26th and more on April 2nd.

      • I want to purchase these Warp Speed Iron Heads. I play Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue Regular Flex Shafts in my driver, 3 wood, 7 wood, and #4 hybrid. Can you recommend a shaft that would be a smooth transition for me for these Warp Speed Heads 5-PW ? I see that you have the Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue Shafts for Irons but was seeing if you had anything similar performance wise but with a cheaper price tag? I do tend to like shafts that are on the lighter side, but aren't whippy feeling. Those Apollo Shadow FL Shafts are very whippy ... don't like.
      • Jason,

The ProLaunch Blue iron is unique in that it has a very low torque at that weight range, I am afraid you won't find a shaft comparable that will be of a lower price. You could look at the ProCustom. In I hope that helps.R-flex, the tip is as soft and the have very similar frequencies. The ProCustom will be lighter, but more of a mid torque shaft.

      • You've listed Acer velocity graphite for senior shaft selection but its out of stock. What alternative would you suggest?
      • The Power Play Zero Gravity is the same shaft with different cosmetics. There is also a host of Acer Velocity senior shafts in other colors.
