    • Is there a manual or can you tell how to use the two accessories that come with this. The putter adapter and marking guide.
    • Ted:

There is no manual that comes with the kit, but it is quite intuitive. Just make sure the ruler goes against the stop underneath the ruler soleplate to obtain accurate measurements. The roll pins by the outline of the iron head are what the sole of all clubs (except for putters) rest against. For putters, the putter adapter fits in-between the two roll pins with the point going toward the head. This is the point at which the putter's sole rests against. The Marking Guide will rest atop a shaft so it can be slid up and down so you can obtain an accurate measurement as well as draw a straight line on the shaft.

    • Question on Clublength Ruler Tool Kit

How is the Marking guide used? Flat or open end?

Also what lie angle is the soleplate?

    • Dave,

The marker guide slides on the side of the ruler and allows for the shaft to pass through so you can mark the shaft for butt trimming. Either side provides a straight edge so you can mark whatever side you are more comfortable with but most will use the open end. The lie on soleplate I believe is 60 degrees.
