      • Jonathan,

Try clicking on the trim codes under the specification tab / trim code. It should be fixed now. Under the 5-iron there is a rouge character with a question mark in it. It should read 1/2" in its place.

      • I have the FST 115 A/R flex shafts and want to make the flex between R and S, and the tip trim instructions are about an inch or so different. Can I split the difference to get the firm flex?
      • Mike,

If you have the A/R shaft and you want to make it "firm", then you will need to cut more than what the R-flex trimming calls for. You will need to cut an additional inch. There is plenty of parallel tip section, but make sure you have enough length on the other end to achieve your desired length.

      • If I use these shafts in the new pinhawk SL iron heads do they all remain exactly the same for each iron or do you tip them a certain amount for each one?
      • Kenneth,

Tip trim each as if they were being installed into a 7-iron.

      • In reference to Mike's question about trimming the A/R shaft extra to get a flex between R and S, will it have any effect on the flight? Maybe mid high rather than high? Will it lower it at all?
      • Rob,

The more you tip trim, the less parallel tip section you will have. Coupled with the stiffer frequency will result into a slightly lower ball flight. If it is only like 1/2" more, I doubt you will see any difference, but larger amounts such as 1" or more you can.

      • I understand these run soft to flex. If i wanted a true firm flex from the A/R shaft how much extra would I trim beyond the listed amount for R?
      • Robert,

For an extra 1/2 flex (5 cpm), you would need to tip trim 1" more than recommended.
