Arriving February 15, 2007, The new Hollow Core Irons will be available as either a component golf clubhead ($16 each) or custom assembled golf club ($29.95 each for base model). When you combine a hollow core body, beta ti face and the vibration dampening effects of a rubber backed cavity you have a best seller in the making." The hollow core removes weight from the center of the clubhead and redistributes it in strategic locations throughout the perimeter. The thin lightweight beta titanium face increases ball velocity upon impact for greater distance. And finally, the rubber backed cavity dampens clubhead vibration for superior forgiveness and feel.
The Acer line of irons were introduced by Hireko Golf in 1998. The new Acer XP905 Hollow Core Irons exemplify Hireko's commitment to providing the most advanced and forgiving designs. The Hollow Core's are available right hand only 3-PW, SW. The assembled base model comes equipped with an Apollo Steel shaft and Karma Black Velvet grip.
