Acer XK Titanium Driver - Custom Assembled:Meet the latest generation of Acer woods loaded with many added features to improve the game of a wide range of players. First we focused on the face technology by offering a variable face thickness, cup-face design. While it is easy to provide for the maximum allowable performance on center shots, the difference of a premium club is the ability to provide near perfect results with less than perfect shots. The cup-face moves the welds away from the corners of the head to provide a thinner, more active face to maximize ball speed on the off-center shots. The variable face thickness further reduces the wall thickness around the perimeter of the impact area so the entire club face becomes a gigantic sweet spot. Now off-center or miss hits will launch the ball directly down the fairway like you perfectly struck the ball in the center of the face. The shape of the head was carefully selected to appeal to the eye of a wide range of golfers, yet improve stability by expanding the front-to back dimension. The center of gravity moves lower and further from the face to optimize launch conditions. The Acer XK Drivers are available in a multitude of loft angles to meet all your custom fitting needs.

14 degree loft works for me

I bought the 14 degree and I did not lose any distance. Now I have a high trajectory, and I can hit draws and fades when I need to. I had my driver assembled with an Aldila NVS 75 R shaft. I have used this on narrow fairways as well and does a great job.I've owned Taylormade R7 and Tour Burner, Callaway FT and Nike SUMO 5900 Lucky 13 and Yonex NANOSPEED i. This is my most consistent driver and now I use this all the time. I just ordered the XK 4 fairway wood to complement this driver.

Average distance but solid. Easy to hit this club in the fairway. Paired it with a Tour 80 shaft in a 9.5, mid to high ball flight. I am not thrilled with this head and will continue to look for a better one.

I bought this driver to use on long par 5s. It only took a little practice to be able to improve my distance 15-20 yards. It give a nice "clink" sound when you hit in on the screws. I'm very happy with the driver and the price.

Upgraded from my Acer XP905, which was a very good driver. Got the 9.5 degree loft with the True Ace, Green Ghost stiff flex shaft. Solid off the tee with a nice, boring trajectory.

Just got finished playing my first round with this driver. It is awesome. Its added about 20 to 30 yards to my drives. And I hit two 300 yarders. Never did that with my callaway.

I have played golf since 1960, at least 2 times/week, so I am a true golfer. I am 77 years old, 5'7" tall and weigh 147 lbs. I have gone from as low as an 8 to a 20 handicap, but I can still hit the driver 200 to 230 yards very straight off the T.
With the Acer XK driver, I am more toward the 230 than 200 yards, and under certain conditions as far as 250. I think this is the best driver I have ever owned, and I have gone through persimmon, steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and titanium drivers, too many to count.
