Power Play Caiman Fairway Wood - Custom Assembled:The profile of the Caiman Fairways follows the same unique geometric shape as the matching Caiman driver. Every small detail was thoroughly examined from the squared off heel and toe areas, reduced face progression, decal size and locations to the masking of the paint lines. All of these features are designed to frame the club and assist in alignment to your target. Hireko engineered these fairway woods with a variable crown thickness (as little as 0.5mm which is as little as the thickness of 5 sheets of paper!) All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown of ordinary fairway wood was repositioned deep within the head. This provides you with a high launching ball flight with incredible accuracy.

I always had trouble hitting a fairway wood until I tried this one. It's the BOMB! I can hit this club as far as the driver about half the time and with better results. Now I actually have a chance to reach some par 5's in two with this club. Buy it now. You will love it. I can work it with this club and it's so nice to have confidence you know where it's going. I can't say enough positive things about this club.

Started with the driver and love it. Not quite as long as my Taylormade Burner, but my go to club when I need accuracy. The only problem is a crack on top crown next to face. Do not know how long it will go. Next, bought a Caiman #5 wood. Great club and long and solid. Loved the #5 so much that I just purchased a #7 wood to replace my 5 iron. Love it also, but it seems to be too long for a 5 iron replacement.

This Caiman fairway wood has the best solid feel than any fairway wood that I have used over the past 3 years. Due to the design of the back of the club, it is very easy to align your flight path. It also has a very solid feel, especially when coming out of the first or scond fairway cut. Also, be sure that you order the right grip. It is very important with your fairway woods to prevent the shaft from turning using improperly fitted grips.

Due to the unique design of the back of the club, it is very easy to align your flight path. Very solid feel at impact and forgiving on mis-hits. Make sure you order the correct properly fitted grip. You do not want a grip that is too small otherwise the shaft could turn during impact. I found that this club worked great even when hitting from the first and second fairway cuts. Great fairway wood for [$]

The heads are far beyond any component I have ever used. Performance is exactly the same as high end EOM products. I used to play tournaments and would not hesitate to use these.

I did insert Graphite Design Pershing shafts because of my preference for it.

I have used Cobra, Callaway, Taylor Made drivers and fairway woods in the past ( still have them actually).

If you are in a quandry about EOM vs the Heriko Camin products.....don't. Great stuff!

First, this club is beautiful, awesome at address and easy to line up. Here is a synopsis of what I can do with this club.

I played earlier today...
Short Par -4 8th hole 285 yards...you can see the new Texas Stadium in the distance (it's just before the OU/BYU game) Its a wide open fairway, tree's to the left so missing right is okay...I am not thinking I am going to get there with this club, I mean it's 285, so I am thinking I'll go about 240-245 then 60 degree wedge full swing flop from the fairway...I swing and hit a high draw that starts right and then slowly comes back and falls...265 yards later I am 20 yards from the center of the green! It was so beautiful, the trajectory, was perfect, absolutely perfect. Yes, I am a long hitter, I have a good swing but I can honestly say, I didn't think this club would produce that shot, no matter how good my swing was. It was a beautiful shot.

I am no slouch as a golfer, I know what I am doing, and I can say that this is a great looking piece of equipment, at address it looks good...weighted solidly - its just a very good piece of equipment.

Not quite what I expected. Lacks any real explosion off the clubface. I judge compenents based on whether I can feel/notice an appreciable difference between them and their OEM counterparts. Usually, I can't... this time I can. All in all, not awful... but I would go a different route.

Not nearly the control or distance as it's counter-part (Power Play Caiman Rawpower Fairway 3Wood) but then again, the technology is different.

It's a decent club and a great price, but I was not Wow'd.

As a short, senior golfer, it is difficult to get to the green on my second shot. I bought the head only and fitted it with a graphite shaft from a Nicklaus club I wasn't using and a new Karma grip (red) from the catalog.
Went out the next day and hit a half dozen balls and they all went Straight and Long! Increased my yardage by about 30 yards with no mishits!
