Acer XK Fairway Woods - Custom Assembled:Finally, an innovative stainless steel fairway series that allows total game management by offering lofts to suit a player’s individual needs! There are three important technological features that make these higher performance clubs. First, we incorporated our variable face thickness to reduce the perimeter area of the impact area so the entire club face could be more active. This acts to increase the area of forgiveness over a larger portion of the face. Secondly, the crowns were constructed with exclusive VCT (variable crown technology) and measure as little as 0.5mm thick. All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown was repositioned deep within the head. Lastly, the wide profile increases the Moment of Inertia. All these features provide for a high launching ball flight with incredible accuracy. Versatility is another word to describe the Acer XK fairways. Multiple lofts are offered including those not commonly found from a strong 3-wood for players who have no problem getting the ball airborne to a high-lofted 9-wood. One addition is a 4-wood for those players wanting just one fairway wood in their bag. This allows you to add an extra wedge or hybrid to your set and stay within the 14 club minimum. Also, our 4-wood is an outstanding solo fairway wood for ladies or seniors looking for the perfect partner to a high-lofted driver.

I naturally draw the ball and this sets up with a draw bias. It is really good when I remember to compensate for the set up. Anyone looking for a draw would find this club excellent.

Couldn't hit this club with any consistency when I first got it. put it aside for a couple of weeks and then took it to the range. Hit 10 balls and all of a sudden it started to perform. Now its in the bag to stay. Straight, long and feels great.

I use this club as my driver, It sets up great for me. I have tried many of the new drivers and for what ever reason just don't care for them. I purchased the 13 degree model and couldn't be more pleased. Will be ordering 3 wedges next

The first time I hit this 4 wood at the driving range I was not sure how I felt. I think I tried hitting it before I was warmed up. However when I got it on the course I was exited. The first shot was from the tee on a short par 4 dogleg left. I laid it perfectly at about 230 yards.

My second time to use it was on a par 5. I was 236 yards out after my drive. Rather than my strong 3 wood I decided to see how the new 4 wood performed. There was water on the left so I aimed a little right of the green just in case I hit a draw. The ball was exactly pin high on the right of the green. hmmmm... wish I had aimed at the pin.

I hit it several times again from the tee on short par 4's or doglegs where I didn't want to hit thru the fairway. My playing partner said, "I guess you found your go to club."

I ordered it with the True Ace Orange ION shaft and the Golf Pride orange dual grip. I love the look. It's my first fairway wood not from one of the big brands, and I've been playing for 40 years. Looks like it won't be my last.
