I had been looking for a 3 wood I would love for some time now that would not cost hundreds of dollars. This club fit the bill perfectly. First, I use to have trouble hitting off the deck, but this club establishes a lot of confidence when I address the ball. Second, this club is an excellent fairway saver if you have a narrow fairway you are looking at rather than pull out your driver.
I paired my 3 wood with the True Ace Orange Ion shaft in stiff flex. All I can say is amazing!! The ball has a booming ball flight when the Avatar Evolution is paired with the Orange Ion when struck well. Also, the sound the clubhead makes is a nice "woosh". Since placing this club in my bag, in two rounds I not only managed to tie my best round again, but I broke my personal best by 3 shots the next round, usually only this club off the tee.
Hireko did a great job adding this club to there selection, and I will definately buy from them again!
