Dynacraft Avatar XMOI Hybrid - Custom Assembled:Most hybrid profiles continue the same profile throughout the set. To gain maximum effectiveness, however, the long irons should be wider soled for maximum forgiveness, and the short irons should be scalloped for effective shortgame play. Part hollow-bodied iron, part hybrid, the Dynacraft Avatar XMOI is our first hybrid set to take on a truly progressive appearance throughout the set. For the weekend warrior who wants to improve their game this set perfectly integrates all the necessary tools to help them achieve that goal. The #3 and 4 irons have a wider footprint sporting an increased breadth and shallow face. This positions the center of gravity much lower and more rearward within the design to give less skilled players added confidence and the ability to easily get the ball airborne and also increase solidness of contact. The mid-irons progressively become narrower (as less game improvement is required) and bridge the gap between a conventional iron appearance. The scoring clubs starting with the #8 look traditional at address. The additional loft beautifully hides the hollow-body but still helps to increase the moment of inertia. The rounded toplines provide plenty of face area and raise the center of gravity enough to control the trajectory. The inclusion of three wedges provide for better course management by eliminating distance gaps.

I purchased the entire set 3 - SW. Played with them in FL last week and could not believe how easy they were to hit.
Accurate and long 7 - 10 yards per iron. A little trouble with the wedges around the greens but just need to hit them.
Oh, I holed out form 150 yards with my 8 iron for an eagle!

Customers love the feel of clubs I use as a demo set. Problem is I cannot sell clubs because all of my demos are scratched and paint is coming lose.

I have added 10-15 yds on all my previous iron shots. The clubs have a great feel that makes it easy to hit more accurate shots without resorting to muscle power

Own the cobra 3,4,5, and 6. Name companies don't go beyond these. Bought the 7,8,9, and pw. Nice looking clubs and solid feel on contact. Hybrids help since I am 72 yrs. young. Good confidence builder to help stay up with younger players.

I purchased the whole set with upgraded grips and graphite shafts (can't remember the brand). I couldn't hit these clubs to save my life. The set looked great but scratched easily.
HIREKO customer service was excellent "Thanks Monica"; they accepted the clubs back and gave me full in-store credit! (see my Acer XK Review) I am very happy with this company and will continue to purchase from them.

After playing the same irons for over a year I thought it was time to try something new. I'd been looking to buy a set of Hibore irons, first there aren't that many used sets around and the price was more than I want to pay. I saw this set on the Hireko website and was intriqued so I purchased 3-PW and shafted them with regular flex hump shafts, grips are Winn Excel XF Midsize.

I played 36 holes on Sat 3/21/09, first 18 with my current irons then after lunch switched out to the XMOI's. The 3 iron is 39.25" with 1/2 increments from there. Swingweight is D5. There is offset in all the irons, not sure how much but hey there are GI irons with thick "top" lines which for me works just fine.

I pretty much got to hit all the clubs throughout the round, one thing I noticed right away was these have no problem getting the ball in the air. Sound and feel was good, the longer irons in the set have a slight "tink" sound when struck. I didn't get any harsh feel at all even on miss hits.

I'm looking forward to playing these again and adjust to them for distance since the lofts on these are weaker than what my current irons are.

The only thing bad I can say about these irons is I wish the heads were all black instead of the blue that they are painted. The matte black looks good but the blue has to go IMO. Oh yea headcovers are needed if you want them to stay nick free.
