I have played irons from mizuno, ben hogan, nickent, hippo, adams. I have struggled to be consistent with any. I ordered these because i could try a longer shaft without spending a fortune. I wasnt expecting much on performance. I was surprised when i hit them. I was currently playing the nickents(wich claim to be the longest hitting irons in golf) These xp905 irons make them look stupid. I am 1 to 2 clubs longer with these.I had been hitting fairway woods instead of long irons, until now. These are the easiest and logest irons i have played. I am a 11 handicap and play 2 times per week.Handicap is now on its way down thanks to my acers.

I have tried many different irons including Callaway, Taylormade and Ping, and these Acer XP905 are far and above all of them. My iron game is now an iron game!!!!

I ordered a 7-iron so I could try it out on the course. After only 2 rounds I'm sold. I just ordered the 5,6,8,9 and PW to fill out my set.
With the Apollo Spectre Lite shaft and the Karma black/red dual touch grip it's a very attractive package.
Simply, this iron is easy to hit -- and control --with a nice balance and feel.
And, of course, I got these clubs customized to my specs.
One of my playing partners hit my 7-iron a few times during today's round and now he's thinking about getting a set.
I've owned several sets of irons over the last 20 years, but this 7-iron performed better than anything I've ever used.

I worked at a golf course for several years where I hit many different clubs. Yes you can spend the money on a name brand club but why do it when you don't need to? I hit these clubs side by side with the callaways and couldn't tell a difference probably because they're the same club. These irons are deffinately a great investment for golfers of any level. I have a very strong swing so I went with the true temper ttlite xl iron shaft with a stiff flex and the win midsize leather grip. I love these clubs!

Last spring I bought a set of Cobra FP's with graphite shafts. The shafts were so light, I never knew where the head was during the swing. I called Jeff for his recommendation and based on his imput, I decided on the XP905's with the Cadence Pro 90 shaft. I am back, distance wise, where I was before the Cobras and the Cadence Pro 90 shaft is perfect. Due to an injury, I need shock absorbtion and the Pro 90 was everything Jeff said it would be. My accuracy has been GREATLY increased with these clubs. I love the look of the XP905 at address. I used the on-line fitting tool and thought it was right-on with flex, grip size and shaft length. What a great company you have!!

Be sure and pick out the grip and grip size you want. I went with the basic grip and regretted that. So I did have the grips changed. Other than that, its a great club. Looks great and I do not miss my old Dynacrafts that were 16 yrs old.

I replaced some old Dynacrafts with these irons. I got the built up grips (spend a little extra and get the grips you like). Lowest round yet (79) and am using the 3, 4 and 5 irons instead of my old hybrids. Hitting sweetspot more than ever. Great great value.

These clubs are a quality product for the cost. When hit properly they feel great. But there not a cure for the poor ball striker. I don't own a high quality expensive set of clubs,so I can't compare them with top of the line clubs. When hit poorly I can still get them airborn and straight, sacrificing distance. When hit properly you can't feel the impact and the accuracy is awsome for inexpensive clubs.
