Power Play System Q2 Iron - Custom Assembled:Who says an advanced game improvement model can't look conventional? While it does feature a moderate topline, reduced offset and classic profile at address, the secret is in the sole and rear cavity mass stabilizing bar. Enhanced perimeter weighting and wider, thicker sole focuses weight where it is needed for most golfers to experience a higher ball flight, a more solid feel and with precision accuracy. Put some muscle between you and the ball and fire away in confidence.

When I first got these clubs, i was a lil worried as i never have bought clubs without trying, But I am a lefty and sometimes there's just slim pickings. I wanted to replace my Ben Hogan hybrids 3.4.5 irons. So i bought these along with a sand wedge with the red stepless stiff shafts and they have been great. Have played 9 rounds of golf with them and feel confident. Heads are heavier, so there is a lil bit of that to get use to but over all i am pleased and the distance is great, I am a long hitter so the 3 iron is around 270 yds. and my 5 at 240-235 yds. Its changed my game and will probably purchase the entire set as my own Xmas gift to myself.

I replaced my gap wedge with the PowerPlay System Q2 and got a better feel and better distance control. Hireko built it to my specs and it fit in like it was part of the original set.

Bought the heads and put them on TT +1". Got soft Winn grips, midsize w/2 extra wraps. We're talking smooth feel, smooth swing, and sting-free. Dropped my scores from 90's to 80's and left hybrids behind. The transition from 8 thru SW is superb. Great confidence builder. Longer irons tend to draw, and sole is now wider than I want. Game improved!

After a long layoff due to illness, I got these to start up again. I am glad I did. I used to be a 9 hdcp but had gone up to a 21 due to the illness. Already back to 14 after only 2 months. These clubs helped a lot.

I battle some joint pain.....hands, arms, etc. I needed to upgrade ten year old custom clubs. They are taking some getting use to, switch from medal shafts, but I have no doubt, because of some hing very straight shots I've hit with it, that my learning period with these irons won't take long. Great club, shaft.

-Bottom line, These are at great set of clubs for a low price. I would recommend these any day of the week. They look great, are assembled very well and don't feel like a cheap club. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to upgrade the shaft. I went cheap and got the steel shaft and they feel a bit heavy.

After a couple outings at a small 6 hole par 3 with this new iron (with graphite Tour Track 80), I finally can give the ball a good launch and stay accurate. I switched from metal to graphite shafts because of joint problems. I was actually defeating my purpose the first few times out, because I was still swinging too hard. After disciplining myself, I tempoed my swing slower...it is amazing how high and accurate these irons will carry you with a soft swing...which was my goal in the first place. So I am buying the rest of the set a few at a time. Also, I found a softer golf ball works better with these too...I am very happy!

Comments about Hireko XI3486:Power Play System Q2 Iron - Custom Assembled:

I purchased the gap wedge to see what all the fuss was about, I carried it 120-130 and it went sky high. I used to never have to look up after I hit a ball, but I did today, once i get consistent with it its game over for whoever wants skins.such great quality, and they feel great,
I love Hireko products, i am so excited to score with clubs that cost me 1/4 of what others paid, no other way to describe Hireko product simply the right product right now.

Comments about Hireko XI3486:Power Play System Q2 Iron - Custom Assembled:

I purchased from Hireko because of several reasons. One of them is the fact that I am left handed and finding clubs that appeal to me is difficult at retail stores.

I have been playing with clone golf clubs for about 10yrs now. I am playing with Pinemeadow's series 6 tour model. (Ping i3) and they are pretty good. I wanted to upgrade saw your clubs on-line and decided to give them a try. I played two rounds this weekend and I can say I was pretty impressed. Since the sole is much larger and the way it's designed, my shots are getting in the air with less effort on my part. I used my 6 iron on a 180 yard approach to the green yesterday and landed 10 feet short of the pin where as if I took the same shot with my tour model it would have skipped another 20 feet.

I had the benefit of making a valid comparison. Yesterday at the course Nike was having a demo day so I tried out their 5 and 6 iron (Victory Red) and MY Q2 irons. The V-reds didn't get the ball as high as my Q2's and my Q2's felt softer on impact. The V-reds at impact wasn't as good as my Q2s, By that I mean, when I hit the Q2's it doesn't feel like I'm hitting a rubber ball whereas the V-reds feel like I am hitting a rock. The shaft I have on my Q2's was the same as the one I tried out on the Nike demo club. Since I play about 10 times a month plus 4 times a month at the driving range I am going to see how these Q2's hold up before buying again. I would like to buy a 4 hybrid soon and your Caiman is on my short list.

Comments about Hireko XI3486:Power Play System Q2 Iron - Custom Assembled:

I was looking to update from my Acer XP905 irons (awesome clubs)that I've been playing for past few years.I just wanted to try something new. I decided to give the Q2 irons w/stiff Shadow Steel shafts a try because they looked and seemed similar to TM Burner irons which I have tried out. The Q2s feel awesome. The ball just comes off the face so smooth and effortless. The trajectory is higher than I was used to with my XP905 irons but I actually like the higher flight. The ball just soars through the air and seems to hangs to longer. I am noticing more distance when sided by side comparison with my old irons. Like most everyone else I was having trouble with my longer irons namely 4&5 irons. Trajectory was always low and never got up in the air long enough to travel any significant distance and faded/sliced horribly. With the Q2's I can hit both 4&5 and the trajectory was much higher and compared to my old 6 iron trajectory. Plus with the stiff Shadow Steel shafts the fade is almost gone. I'm now using the Power Play Q2's 4-PW and can now attack the greens from just about every distance. Beautiful looking clubs that perform all for the fraction of what brand name clubs cost.

I have gained accuracy and distance (at least 10 yds), with my new 7 iron. I have eliminated the right side of the fairway! But the main thing is that I was able to buy one club at a time. Try that with the other guys. Thanks Hireko!

Bought XKs and Q2s irons and can not decide which one to use. My friends were surprised with Q2s because of the friendliness, no time to get used to it. Just think in advance you hit 15 or more yards

Comments about Hireko XI3486:Power Play System Q2 Iron - Custom Assembled:

The design of the set is very nice. I think the heads are equal in quality to most OEM sets. I built 3 sets for various customers and friends. Feedback: From a game improvement standpoint, the design missed the boat by having reduced offset and a sharp leading edge which do not help the weekend warrior. The remaining specs (loft, lie, bounce, etc are perfect, so do not change these). For future offerings may I suggest increased offset (4MM in the wedges, and increase systematically from there), and a rounder/softer leading edge that makes the clubs more useful to prevent fat shots. Everthing else about the set is awesome.

The 10 handicap player liked them, but those in the 15+ range did not and could use more design help.

Keep up the good work Hireko, and I look forward to your updated line.
