The four-way cambered sole and moderate bounce angles allow for maximum playability from a variety of situations you may encounter on the course. The versatility of the D-grind sole allows for the face to be opened when needed and is good from any lie to produce creative face angle positions for shots like “bump and run” and “the flop” around the green.
Perhaps the greatest attribute is that no other set of wedges are as complete and versatile as the Acer XB wedges. There are as many as 8 different lofts to choose from providing you with total short-game management. Many golfers are content with the standard 52, 56 and 60 degree set up, which we have you covered. We also have the harder, if not impossible to find higher lofted wedges like the 64 and the 68 degree (satin finish only) for the high little delicate shots when you need to have the ball land softly.
With so many pitching wedges being manufactured with 46º of loft, for many golfers it makes more sense to carry 50, 54 and 58 degree lofts instead. This way they have the nice separation in distance without gaps from their game-improvement irons and still cover the majority of shots they will encounter on the course.

I have the 52 and 56 degree wedges...a gap and sand wedge. I had them built with the Acculite 95 steel shaft (R Flex) and Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips. I was hitting shots left of target for several rounds while I got used to the clubs. After those first rounds I've been sticking my shots from 110 yards to the edge of the green and in the sand close. The wedges look good and they feel good.

I had this custom assembled, so I can't return it. I guess I could use it for practice. The sole grid just wasn't for me. Didn't like the look at address much. Feel was so, so. The Karma grip was installed poorly. I could have done a better job.

I now have 2 sets of these wedges in the 50/54/58/64 shafted with Red Steel and 50/54/58 with Arthur Wedge Shafts. These are by far the most versatile wedges I have ever played. The D-Grind makes them extremely playable from a multitude of conditions (sand/hard-pan/rough). The one item I was scared of was the rounded leading edge. I have come to realize that feature is what makes this wedge the beast that it is. The leading edge gives me the feeling that I will make good contact no matter the condition and it delivers. I am getting very good spin on them using a urethane ball and hop and stop on some mid-range balls. The best part about these is that I was able to get a full set for less than the price of 1 OEM wedge and getting better results. Do yourself a favor and just try one you owe it to yourself and your game to try this diamond in the rough. My suggestion is try the 58* as it seems to me be the perfect loft around the green and for most short wedge shots around the green.

Having played several major brands of wedges over the years, my expectations weren't high when I received these clubs. I've played 5 full rounds and practiced daily with these wedges and I can not imagine playing anything else. These are the easiest to use, best feeling wedges I have ever hit. I bought the 52, 56, and 60 degree versions and they are simply awesome.
