I built a 3 iron and 5 iron hybrid using Apollo Stepless Steel shafts. They were cut for regular flex and were cut a little longer for my height (6'3"). I used them for the first time last weekend. My first use of the 5 iron hybrid was a 190 yd par 3. The wind was at my back maybe a half a club worth. On a good day, my old Callaway X-12 iron would go 170-175. I put this on the back of the green with little effort. I had some difficulty (pushes to the right) with the 3 iron off the fairway the two times I used it, but I attribute that more to having not played for two months. On the last hole, a 280 par 4 with water in the front, I hit the iron 230 yds right down the middle. I'm so glad I built these clubs that I may trade in the Baffler 4 iron hybrid I bought last year.
