Acer XDS Wide Sole II Iron - Custom Assembled:The all-new Acer XDS Wide Sole II iron is designed with a thick contoured wide sole, which lowers the center of gravity for optimal trajectory, and helps move the club through almost any type of rough. A deep undercut channel moves the weight towards the back of the head to reduce twist on less than perfect shots. Can also be mixed and matched with the XDS Wide Sole Hybrid for a fully customized set.

Base price assembled with Apollo Standard steel shaft and Karma Black Velvet grip.

These clubs were a replacement for my Acer Wide Soles I bought about 5 years ago.... I like those Acers however over the years I lost a couple and wanted to upgrade. With this new set I choose stiff shafts and the golf pride grips. Well yesterday was my first try out at the range. I was very pleased... about five more yards per club on average and the feel of the clubs were solid. I would recommend these. 200+ yards with my #4

I wanted more loft out of my iron shots. These clubs gave me the extra loft I was looking for but still gave me the distance I would expect from, for instance, a 5 iron.
