Acer XP Hollow Core Ti Face:Pushing the envelope of golf technology, the new Acer XP Hollow Core Irons bring your game to a whole new level. This unique iron features a hollow core stainless steel body which completely removes the weight from the center of the clubhead and allows for a more dramatic ability to expand the area of forgiveness. A thin, lightweight Beta Titanium face is welded to the frame to increased ball velocity coming off of the face. Finally, a unique rubber backing dampens vibration and improves both sound and feel. Note: PW and SW do not have titanium face or the rubber backing. They are standard cavity back irons.

Compares to Callaway Fusion, at a lower price. Only problem the black backing comes off easy. Had to clean and reglue with super glue.

Gentlemen:
I have said this to you before, the rubber backing on the IRONS is poorly glued on and sometimes (OFTEN) FALLS OFF. I have already re-glued my 7 & 5 with CRAZY GLUE. It doesn't affect my game, but it is anouying and looks bad.

Does all advertised - intend to purchase
balance of iron set.

My expectations were extremely high when I bought these irons. I got the Acer shafts with the irons. I have been trying to get better and this product has help me. I used to be the shortest hitter in my group and now I'm the longest or one of the longest. It has taken me some time to realize that I can hit the ball as far as I'm hitting it. You could not give me another set of irons to use, these are great.
