The head has a good feel to it and really gets down the fairway. It is long. The only concern I have is with the construction. I read another reviewer that said he cracked 2 heads. Well, I cracked 1 after 2 months use. I'm on my second head and so far it has held up. I haven't played that many rounds with it yet. The 12 degree is a little more than I would like. I would prefer a 10.5, but it still gets the ball on down there.
It's worth the cost.
There is not a driver on the market that will go any further than this one. It is extremely long. But the jury is still out on the construction. This is my second one to purchase. The first one developed a crack after only 2 months of use. The crack was on top where the composite head meets the metal face . I didn't bother to ask for a replacement since I just paid[$]. I thought I would try one more and see how it holds up. I'm still using the first one with the crack and can't tell any difference in performance. But the fact that it is cracked bothers me. When the next one arrives I will see how it holds up.
When I ordered the club I wasn't aware that all they had were 12 deg. heads. I normally use a 9 or 9 1/2 deg. But I kept it and I must say I can't tell a whole lot of difference in the two.
I am pleased with the distance. I was using a Mizuno driver and I believe this one is a little longer. Off center hits will still get you down the fairway. I really like the club. Well worth the money.
Great driving with this club. A friend made one for me after watching me use a 3-wood off the tee for three years. I LOVE IT! Straight, long, consistent.
Paired with a Proforce 65 shaft. I made a second one for my travel bag.
However, I cracked TWO heads in less than one year of play (perhaps 75 total rounds between the two heads). Hireko was great about replacements, but I'm getting tired of on-course equipment failure.
Improve your game, buy this head. Purchased the 12 degree nuetral head and shafted it with a Cadence Pro 65 shaft/Stiff Flex/45" length, nice tight 4 yard draw seems it's typical ball fight, excellent distance and great feel.
I wanted a driver for my travel set. (The set I ship to where I am going by plane, or trust to the airlines.) The set should be the same specs as my regular clubs, but probably not as expensive.
I made up the Prophet driver to the same length, swingweight, and frequency as my everyday driver. The lofts are the same at 12*. I used a Grafalloy Prototype NT R-flex shaft. (I have a different Grafalloy shaft on my everyday driver.)
It hits the ball very similarly to my everyday driver. Perhaps not quite as far, but straighter. (That's probably a good trade for my travel set, since I'm going to be playing courses I'm not as familiar with.) And it looks GREAT; Dynacraft has done a great job with the composite body.
Bottom line: A very solid clubhead, keeps the ball in the fairway, and plenty long enough.
This driver is the best I have ever played. I have the 10d that I put in a Snake Eyes Graffalloy NZ-6 stiff shaft. The combination is just perfect. I can hit this thing dead straight or hit a mean power fade with no problem. I have always been pretty good off the tee. But, this driver has me 15-20 yards longer. Either the courses I'm playing are mis-marked, or I crank this thing 275 on mis-hits. For the price or any price, you are not going to find a better club.
THE WHOLE PROPHET LINE IS GREAT I HAVE DRIVER THROUGH S/W I HAVE GAINED AS MUCH AS 8 TO TEN YARDS PER CLUB. I AM 74 YRS. OLD AND PLAY EVERY DAY.
THIS HEAD FEELS VERY SOLID AT IMPACT AND ITS SWEET SPOT IS LARGE ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU IN THE "SHORT GRASS". I ASSEMBLED MY 12 DEGREE PROFIT DRIVER HEAD WITH A CADENCE 65 SHAFT (REG FLEX) AND IT GIVES ME ABOUT 225 TO 235 YARDS OFF THE TEE. MY SWING SPEED FALLS INTO THE 90-94 MPH RANGE-NOT BAD WHEN I CONSIDER MY BACK HAS SOME ISSUES. I THINK MANY WILL FIND THE CADENCE SHAFT A VERY GOOD COMBO FOR THE PROFIT AND SINCE THE SHAFT HAS A VERY REASONABLE PRICE, YOUR WALLET WON'T SUFFER, EITHER. THE HEAD HAS A VERY ATTRACTIVE BLACK PAINT COUPLED WITH A BRUSHED, FLANGE-LIKE INSERT THAT PROTECTS THE HEAD FROM THOSE OCCASIONAL POP UPS THAT OFTEN BLISTER THE PAINT. SUMMARY: I THINK YOU WILL LIKE THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE PRODUCTS AND THE COST IS SURELY REASONABLE.
Received this head(10 degree) and mounted on a Graffloy pro launch blue stiff shaft which is made for large driver heads. Gained 20+ yards off the tee. Off center hits carried almost as far as sweet spot hits. Love it.
I have tried the Callaway FT-3 and FT-5, plus the Adam Comp/Ti drivers and found that this Prophet head, (10 deg) on a Graffaloy ProLaunch Blue 65, regular shaft outperforms them as far as distance, trajectory and accuracy are concerned. The flight is a little higher than I would prefer, a 9.5 deg would be about right, but otherwise this is a Great driver.
I also built this with the grafalloy red shaft in order to keep the trajectory down. I normaly play a 9.0 or 9.5 and the prophet came with a 10.5 loft. I routinely hit between 275-300 or more with this combo, my occasional slice is extremely rare and I sometimes see a nice draw to my shots but usually tend to pipre them right down the middle. I have tested all of the newest name brands on the market and have found none better even though they normally cost 3-4 times as much.
I assembled 10 degree draw biased model with a VS339 stiff. Very solid feeling and very straight. However, I did hit this a bit higher than I would like. I wish they had a lower loft. This is one of the first drivers I've ever played extremely well with the first time out. Unfortunately, I headed out for my second round with it and the face cracked on the first swing. Of course, Hireko exchanged the head for a new one, but my local shop destroyed the shaft while pulling it. So, I have not rebuilt it as of yet.
Bottom line though, I had always had tremendous success with Dynacraft products, and would recommend them to anyone. Before this broke, it performed very well. I think in this case I just got a defect.

I built up the 10 degree neutral bias version w/ the new grafaloly pro launch red (stiff flex)for my 16 year old son who is on the local High School golf team. On his first drive on a 350 yard openning hole he had a 35 yard pitch shot to the green. needless to say he was really pleased with the results. He averaged about 270-280 all day long with the new club.Much better performance than his Ping G2 w/ pro launch blue shaft. Not much to complain about...nice sound and also GREAT FEEL for a ti/comp blend.really nice job Dynacraft!!!!!!

I've built this head up with an Accuflex VS 339 shaft and it's far and away the best hitting driver I've ever built or used. The club hits long and relatively straight (for me). It's forgiving on off center hits.
How I feel about this club can be summed up with a incident that happened a couple months ago. I was standing on the first tee with my usual group of guys. As I'm about to swing, I heard one of them say to another who hadn't played with us for awhile, "watch this". He was refering to how I've been hitting the ball since getting this drive. That was worth the price of the club.
I'm buying another just to have in case the line is discontinued.
