As a club maker, I have four out with customers, and three have been defective. [...] it is the end of golf season here. I hope the fourth holds up or I will have four not just three unhappy customers. If they are defective, they should not be sold no matter the bargin.

This club moved me from a five-wood tee off to a driver. The large head gave me confidence and was the beginning of my driver conversion.
Pros easy to swing, and long

This is my second review. The first one cracked on the sole 1/8 inch from the face. Got the replacement about late June early July. This time I installed a old UST Tourforce 60 that I bought 2 years ago and my distance and accuracy increased about 15 yards. Last year was the first time hitting a drive over 300 yards, 315 to be exact. Hope this head holds up, so far so good. This year I'll think I'll try the Q2.

I experiment with very stiff low torque shafts along with very high lofts and very high swing weights. Any plans for a 14 deg loft in this driver?

Comments about Hireko TM52468:Power Play System Q Tri-Port Titanium Driver - Clubhead:

Longest driver I've hit. I've struggled in recent years driving the ball consistently straight, but I set the heavy screw to the Fade side and went back to my most comfortable swing......a very nice, CONSISTENT, left-to-center power fade. Even when I hit it a little off-the-sweet-spot, it tends to correct itself and I'm a little right of center, but still in good shape. I matched it with the Blue Crush shaft and I added a little lead tape to make it heavier. It was a little light for my tastes and it makes a slightly odd sound, but I can live with it. The results more than make up for any negatives.

Comments about Hireko TM52468:Power Play System Q Tri-Port Titanium Driver - Clubhead:

I built the predasessor to this club and it cracked on top just behind the face, Hireko would NOT replace the head!!! I have built many Power Play drivers for my customers and they have been very happy with them, no other head cracks. Because I like the Power Play heads I built the System Q Tri Port, the head cracked on the bottom just behind the face after 2 months of use. I'm 70 years old and my swing speed IS NOT FAST. This time Hireko replaced the head even before I returned the broken one. I like the driver, it's long, straight, and has a large sweet spot. Hope this one doesn't crack!

A good twenty yards longer than my trusty r7 when I matched it to a UST V2 shaft. However, mine also cracked about an eight of an inch behind the face. Hireko did replace the head and I'm building one for a friend who hit mine before it cracked. He was so impressed he still wants one!

I had a 12 degree and thought I might be a little longer with a 10.5. Wow! couldn't believe it when the very first drive was 30 yards longer. In the first week with it I shot 5 games in mid 70's It's a lot easer to get close with a wedge than a 7 iron. One of my friends hit it 20 yards longer than his Taylor Made. Best driver I've had.

Put the driver together myself. Got the 10.5 degree head, installed a Rifle Stiff Graphite shaft with a Wynn grip. Driver length is 45" and swing weight is a D3. This driver has added 20-25 yards. The sound of the club can be a bit annoying on miss hit. When hit on the sweet spot it makes an impressive ping. I like this club so much my Callaway Big Bretha has not been used this year.

Comments about Hireko TM52468:Power Play System Q Tri-Port Titanium Driver - Clubhead:

I have had nothing but problems with this head and all of the problems are related to poor quality construction. Initially I didn't like the head because of the "pinging" sound but I got over that based on the ball flight which was nice and long. However, the "Q", on the bottom of my first head fell out leaving a hole. It was replaced but now the replacement has cracked on the bottom of the head about 1/8 " from the face. Yeah, it hits nice but that's heavily outweighed by these two incidents of poor construction.

Comments about Hireko TM52468:Power Play System Q Tri-Port Titanium Driver - Clubhead:

I built the System Q 410 cc. last season and loved it, but I wanted to try a 460 cc. head, and wanted a little higher trajectory. I put a 12 degree head on a Harmon Tour Design 65 shaft (UST has discontinued the Harmon line, but inventory still exists). This club is a BEAST! Very long and straight with a sweet spot the size of Rhode Island! My swing speed averages about 90 mph, and I consistantly get around 245 -255 yard drives on reasonably on-center shots with this driver. Even quite off-center hits travel in the 225-230 range. This driver is very straight, and you need to work hard to make it fade or draw when the weighting is in the neutral configuration. A golf buddy who was in love with his Ping G-5 driver last season tried my new System Q last week, and I'm ordering the components to build him one. He's about a 14 handicap, and was amazed at the club's forgiveness and distance

This is the best driver I have ever put in my hand. I ordered a head to put on a shaft for a friend. He had some surgery so I pulled the head off the driver I had and replaced it with this one. I am hitting drives 230 to 240 consistently and almost all of the time on the fairway, maybe not dead center but definately not in the deep rough. I have orders for 4 and climing.
