Dynacraft Prophet Fairway Wood - Clubhead:The Prophet Fairways are a breakthrough design combining many elements together to create the perfect fairway club. First, the head has a large footprint at address to inspire confidence. To increase the playability, the face was designed shallow for a "pancake-like" appearance to move the center of gravity both as low and rearward as possible. The stainless crown is replaced by a much lighter weight carbon graphite material. Not only does this make the club look elegant, but further allows a greater amount of weight to be shifted into the most strategic location within the clubhead. Lastly, even more weight is able to be repositioned in the head by utilizing a lighter, ultra-high strength maraging face material. With the weight positioned lower and rearward, not only is a higher launch angle produced, but the amount of distance robbing back spin is reduced. The specialty face material is not only used for weight savings, but more importantly for performance. The higher strength face material allows it to be manufactured thinner. As a result, the face will flex more to increase the ball velocity off of the face. See for yourself how those par 5's can now be reached in two!

The only negative about this club is the paint line comes down on to the face of the club, therefore, you can hit a good shot, and chip away at the paint. If you like pristine looking clubs, I don't think this one is going to look great after several rounds.

Everything else is perfect!! High trajectory for a 3 wood due to slightly higher loft, and very low center of gravity. HOT...likely due to miraging face. Very attractive club too. Superficial paint chips won't bother me. Best 3 wood I have ever hit.

I built a 3 wood with the Cadence 65 Stiff Shaft, and a Lamkin Black Crossline Grip. Like others, I sometimes struggle with the driver. I played a round using the Prophet 3 wood exclusively off the tee for par 4 and par 5 holes. The drives averaged 230-240 straight down the fairway. I am sold on this club. There is really no need to struggle kwith a driver when you can bomb it 240 straight down the fairway. Build one as demo, and the results will speak for themselves.

I built the Prophet hybrids earlier and liked the clubs so much that I deceided to try the fairway woods. They have a nice low center of gravity that easily gets the ball up and work great off the tee, the fairway and in the rough. The only issue that I have is that sometimes I hit them too far!

Another great Dynacraft product. I built a 7 wood and a 5 wood. I paired it with a True Temper TX 90. The sound is great and the distance outstanding. I usually hit my 7 wood 180 yards and now I am hitting it 200 to to 210. Amazing club. Looks like I am going to have to shorten the shaft a little because I am looking for 190 !!! Get this club. You will not be disappointed.
