Lamkin is one of the old line golf grip manufacturers, and they have been preferred by good golfers for generations. The Tour Elite Cord is a black rubber grip with gray/gold cord infused into the grip pattern. The cord density is adequate, and there are no big zones where the cord is missing. In an era of expensive cord or specialty grips, the Lamkin model works as planned, plus provides good value.

Lamkin makes excellent products, and their cord grips are superb! The embedded cord is uniformly distributed, and decades of making them has taught Lamkin how to make the cord/rubber interface not fray. Many cheaper cord grips tend to unravel, but Lamkins last about as long as any cord grip, regardless of other brands premium pricing. Cord grips are not for delicate hands, or hands that grip and re-grip the clubs during the swing. But if you toughen your hands, and want a secure all-conditions grip, then these are 5-star rated.
