These clubs are very easy to Hit. I built a 7 iron and bought a 6 iron from a friend. I love them. I put a Mens steel release shaft in both clubs. I only wish the clubs were offered in 8-9-and wedges.
I am left handed and my irons are Dynacraft Hybrid Control with ACD reg flex shafts. The 3 and 4 irons are Hybrids. I really like these clubs, thus I have not replacwed them as they are about 4 years old. As I got a little better with my swing of late, I found that the offset on the 3 and 4 irons caused me to severely pull to the right. So I was looking for hybrids with less offset. I watched a lefty at a driving range hitting a hybrid and turns out that it was the Acer XP. I asked to try it and was sold. I made a 3,4, and 5 iron with the Cadence hybrid shaft reg flex. These are great clubs. I am still getting used to them but I hit the ball long and straight from the rough and the fairway. The club and shaft combination is excellent!

Accurate and great feeling replacement for long irons. I tend to pull the offset hybrids but these I can hit straight and on target. Wonderful, solid design. Eye pleasing at address.
I have a 4,5,6,7 all on Prolaunch S-flex. I also carry a 7 iron because the 7 hybrid is about one club longer.
IT GETS YOU TO THE GREEN , WHERE MOST OFTEN YOU DO NOT WITH THE 3-4-5- THATS WHY I USE THEM, IT HAS IMPROVED MY IRON GAME QUITE A BIT, HIGHLY RECOMEND.
I am a senior golfer who was having a hard time getting ball airborne. These Acer hybrids are a wonder. I put in the 2,4,5,6,&7. (8 is longest iron in the bag) With much higher ball flight I am getting more distance as well. Off center hits are not a problem. I use the 2 for longer shots on par 5's. Now that I have them they will stay in the bag. I'm trying to talk my friends to give them a go. Good work Hireko.
I have Built Several and I put I drive Hybrid Shafts in and boy what a club i use the 5,6,7 clubs .my irons are in the Garage some place
I've built a few dozen of these for folks, NO one has anything but great reviews. I've used a lightweight steel shaft (go as soft of a flex as you can tolerate, let the club do the work). Could go to a better graphite (SK TT80 is nice for good swing weight) to get more kick on the ball.
Just can't go wrong with this club, even the "tink" on impact is just fun to hear.
Got it to try out a hybrid. It is now a full time member of the bag and the 3iron has retired.
The feel off the club is neutral at best - not very satisifying on the good to great shots.
A solid club would recommend to anyone wanting to try out a hybrid as it is inexpensive and does the job well.
I built the 3,4, and 5 in a set for my brother in law. I used the Apollo standard stepless steel shaft ([$] great shaft for the money). Good shots traveled 190-200 yards with an easy swing, poor shots and off center generally traveled about 175-185 and didn't lose to much to the right or left. For $15.00 hybrids these are very competitive to the oem's. My guess is that results would be even better with a premium shaft like a rifle flighted or grafalloy or aldila hybrid shaft.
