I have had the whole set for years(Dynacreft) except for the four iron.I have taken ribbing from my sons,I have tried to replace them I cannot. They are the origional and still the best.I can hit down on the ball it flies streaight and high checks on the greens.I have decided to live with the look. If I can find a putter this cosisctent look out.
I made these hybrids 1 inch longer than standard using appollo steel shafts and jumbo karma grips because I wanted a heavy club with increased distance. First time out, I scored a 75. I also started chipping with them. They are a great all around clubhead.
I have yet to chunk a chip with these clubs. They're very playable and allow you be creative on the course. I wasn't sure if I would like them so I only purchased a couple of the long and mid irons. I bought the rest of the set shortly after (even the wedges). Thin shots and toe shots travel well with minimal shock. The look of these clubs at address encourages a sweeping path, which is a real plus for me. The game is fun again! I'll miss the look of my muscle back clubs, about as much as I miss my higher handicap.
As a clubmaker I have made 4 sets of these clubs. All reports are " more consistent, easier to hit, straighter ball flight". Made a set for myself while going to a senior flex shaft... Terriffic!
Very, very, very easy to hit. Long, high and straight. I have owned at least 15 sets of clubs, and bar none, these are the best. Nothing is even close. I made them with Apollo Shadow shafts, and the Karma mid-size grips. Not a thing wrong with the grips, and shafts couldn't feel better. If you go with something traditional....you are only making it harder on yourself. DO NOT be afraid of the wedges!! I was sceptical initially...until I hit them!! Almost impossible to hit fat, great distance control, and sratch-your-head accuracy. They also make chiping and pitching much easier. My greatest dilema was whether to tell nobody, so I would have an advantage over everyone I competed with, or to tell everyone. I guess I chose the latter.
I recently assembled a 6 and 7 iron using the Dynacraft Avatar Launch Series head. These are two of the smoothest feeling clubs I've hit in a long time. I plan on adding the 8 and 9 iron to my bag. I've recommended these heads to my playing friends and expect to assemble several in the near future for several of these folks. Great feel, great sound on contact, excellent ball flight after contact.
I have always struggled to hit irons, especially longer irons. Build an entire set of these through sand wedge 2 years ago. They are easy to hit and very forgiving. Solid feel at impact. Lofts are a little stronger than traditional, so I get extra distance. I'm not fond of the offset, but at the time I bought them, there was no comparable full set of hybrids in my pricerange (which is dirt cheap). I would definitely recommend these wood-style hybrids to beginners and intermediate golfers who struggle with traditional irons.
I have made these for several players...mostly beginners and intermediate golfers. They all love the feel and accuracy...easy to get the ball in the air. A little bulky for my taste, and while accurate, they are a couple of yards shorter than my more traditional irons.
Good clubs for people who struggle to hit the ball straight. Just a little short with steel shafts in them though. Paint isn't the best, but I want result and am willing to give up the fancy looks for them. All around a good club for mid to high handicaps. Which I am. Mid that is. Clubs are very versatile.

Easiest clubs to hit I have ever used.
These clubs met all my expectations and surpassed the quality I expected for the price.
