Bought the #3 and #4 to try since I couldn't hit the ones I had. They were great and helped get more elevation with these longer irons which is especially important to an older, slow swinger like me. So I decided to make the complete the set and they have been discontinued. What a bummer.

It really doesn't matter where on the face of the club you hit the ball, it's coming off the ground and going mostly straight. You obviously lose distance with mis-hits, but not a ton. By my calculation the PW lost 22% distance when hit low on the extreme toe - I mean the polished part, not even the area with grooves. The ball flew high and straight, it just didn't go as far. Unreal. If you want a club that will mask your sloppy swing with high and straight shots, this is a winner.
For the record when hit well they feel great. Actually when hit perfectly you feel basically nothing at all, just smooth right through the ball and watch it fly.
Overall I'm extremely impressed with these heads. When I ordered them I was hoping they would be pretty good for being so inexpensive. It turns out they're VERY good, and the low price has nothing to do with it. That's just icing on the cake. They'd be worth 4 times what they currently cost.

Built these for my dad as a gift (he’s a lefty). Matched them with Apollo Standard Stepless shafts (R Flex) and Winn Rave grips. I was at the house with the Ping Raptures ([$]) were pulled out of the bag and replaced by the Dynacraft HLs. Initial report is they are 5 yards longer per club and much straighter. Another winner from Dynacraft!

Nice looking clubs, played very much like the Ping G2's. Hits the ball high, very high without losing distance if that is possible. I played these and the Ping G2's and G5's and there is not much difference at all. These may be a bit more forgiving than the Ping's. Fortunately for me, the Pings have better re-sale value, so I sold them and keep these.
I may get a second set for backup.

I assembled a set of these with Aldila VL shafts for my wife, and they're superb. Accurate and long, easy to hit and they look very good. Not too fussy, but with a nice finish, like all the Dynacraft products, very well made.

I made a set for my 13 year old son and liked them so much I ordered new heads for me. The PW is awesome. With the reg. flex Apollo shaft I have added 10 to 15 yds. per club with higher ball flight. This club has great bounce. It will help any player who tends to dig or take big divots.
