Pre-worn heel is incorporated in the design to allow the face to open up for delicate "flop shots" and "bump and run" shots around the green. I had been searching for component wedges that had a soft feel and USGA conforming grooves. On one of the golf forums I frequent there was mention of Dynacraft products so I took a look. While I was not thrilled with the cosmetic treatment these heads got (large blocky lettering) I bit the bullet and got a stainless 52* and carbon steel 56* and 60*
Feel is soft and the ability to open the faces wide open is very nice. For the money, you simply can not beat this deal. If you are looking to try club building, this is a great place to start. Cost vs. performance is a total no brainer.
