I PURCHASED THIS CLUB FOR GREEN APPROACH SHOTS, BUT HAVE DISCOVERED A GREAT CLUB FOR GREEN SIDE BUNKER SHOT UP TO 30--YARDS.

I think it's best use is around the green, just use a putting stroke. I made mine like a putter, short shaft, larger grip. It is very head heavy and the long body behind the face gives you more confidence to hit it where you are aiming. Out of the sand requires a shorter back swing and taking less sand, seems to work the best.

XK Flipper review.
I mounted this head to a Apollo 43" stepless putter shaft, trimmed to my playing length of 38.5", finished with a Winn Xi7 grip.
If you struggle using a wedge for finesse shots working around the green, this club is money. My first trip to the chipping practice green, I was holing out or lagging within a few feet for 75% of my shots from the fringe and first cut.
Feel is very solid and somewhat harsh compared to a forged wedge, but the feedback is valuable for gauging distances.
Say goodbye to chunked shots around the green. This club's design will not allow it to dig in.
I employed the XK Flipper on the green for lagging long uphill putts on tiered greens for better results than with my putter.
Fun club. This one stays in the bag.
