Acer XK Titanium Driver - Clubhead:Meet the latest generation of Acer woods loaded with many added features to improve the game of a wide range of players. First we focused on the face technology by offering a variable face thickness, cup-face design. While it is easy to provide for the maximum allowable performance on center shots, the difference of a premium club is the ability to provide near perfect results with less than perfect shots. The cup-face moves the welds away from the corners of the head to provide a thinner, more active face to maximize ball speed on the off-center shots. The variable face thickness further reduces the wall thickness around the perimeter of the impact area so the entire club face becomes a gigantic sweet spot. Now off-center or miss hits will launch the ball directly down the fairway like you perfectly struck the ball in the center of the face. The shape of the head was carefully selected to appeal to the eye of a wide range of golfers, yet improve stability by expanding the front-to back dimension. The center of gravity moves lower and further from the face to optimize launch conditions. The Acer XK Drivers are available in a multitude of loft angles to meet all your custom fitting needs.

Built the XK Driver with a True Ace Green Ghost Regular Flex shaft for a senior customer. He absolutely loves the performance of this driver. He said it performs better than his old OEM driver.

I had this club assembled by my fitter with Aldila NVS regular. I've had trouble getting the ball up consistently, with the 14 degree loft I don't have this problem. I also gained distance, not lose. I hit a 320 yard drive (1st time in my life) on Friday at a par 4. I can also hit draws or fade or just simple down the middle now.

Built this with a True Ace Blue Crush, 45", D-4 sw and a Tacki-Mac Itomic white grip. Took me a bit to get used to it, because of the face angle. Being a lefty, I don't get much of a choice from any of the component OEMs (though Hireko does have the largest selection that I've found).

I'm routinely putting it out there 260+... just like I was doing with my old SuMo 5000. I don't see or feel anything wrong with the construction, it sounds good at impact and I can just let it rip. Worth every penny.

Paired this head with an Adila NVS X-stiff and it straightened me out. I tried stiff shafts but they all were to loose for me and caused a wicked slice (along with bad swing habits). Since I have assembled this the slice is gone and I added 20 or so more yards. I also occasionally have a slight draw to my drive. I loved it.

No problem with the driver. My driving accuracy and distance are simply unchanged. Should be no surprise. The COR is legal and I'm using the same ball and swing. One thing that has changed, however, is Hireko. I received a wrong shaft which I didn't recognize until I started trimming it. They would give no credit because of this and quite understandably, but I asked if they would ship the proper shaft which I was wiling to pay for again and simply not charge me postage.I did not feel this was an unreasonable request since it was unclear, at least in my mind, who was at fault for the error. The reply was a cold, curt emphatic NO!!!!!
I've been a 15 year customer, but bought the shaft at my local Golfsmith store. Silly way for them to have lost a customer.

Have been playing this head to a length of 47 inches. I am 6'3" and the longer shaft makes me flatten out my swing plane. I fitted the 9.5 to a Harrison Saga stiff shaft and I finally got my swing grooved today. I hit four drives over 350 yards today with the longest being on the 571 yard par 5 at my home course. My ball was exactly five yards past the 200 yard marker. You have to give this head a try. Heck give any of Hireko golf's products a try. All but four of my clubs are Hireko products and I will be replacing them when I finish paying for the ones I have now. Keep up the great work Hireko.

I have a high flight pattern so I went with the 9.5 degree face and a low kick shaft. Between them I now have a tree top tall flight angle and 20 yards of roll. The feel and sound of this drive are GREAT; large sweet spot and a closed face angle eliminates the right side of the fairway all hits center to left center.
