Power Play Caiman Fairway Wood - Clubhead:The profile of the Caiman Fairways follows the same unique geometric shape as the matching Caiman driver. Every small detail was thoroughly examined from the squared off heel and toe areas, reduced face progression, decal size and locations to the masking of the paint lines. All of these features are designed to frame the club and assist in alignment to your target. Hireko engineered these fairway woods with a variable crown thickness (as little as 0.5mm which is as little as the thickness of 5 sheets of paper!) All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown of ordinary fairway wood was repositioned deep within the head. This provides you with a high launching ball flight with incredible accuracy.

Comments about Hireko M1005:Power Play Caiman Fairway Wood - Clubhead:

My wife is a beginning golfer-- 4 years. Her problems are launch, and sometimes hits her woods on the edge of the crown. To help in this area I built her a 12* Caiman driver because of its deep face. She loves it and has developed a confident swing, which results in better shots, better ball flight and significant distance gains. From there, I built her a 3 wood (Caiman Raw Power), and a 7 wood to replace her Adams Tight Lies (very shallow face) 3 and 5 woods. She hits her 3 with confidence off the deck and tee, and particularly likes the weight of it. The 7 wood was built to give her additional carry distance by way of the 22* loft. I consider it her 5 wood, and got the Club Glove 5 wood cover it.

The whole series has just the right amount of face height to accommodate deck or tee. Great job! Build quality is nice too! Put Acer Velocity shafts, A flex, in them all for her. Great looking clubs. The Raw Power looks like Darth Vader's 3 wood. Topped them all with Black Club Gloves-- including her 2 hybrids. Sweeeet! Very serious looking rig, just like her!!

I put together a 5 wood with an Aldila Value Series shaft in Senior flex for my 12 year old son. He loves it. He had struggled a bit with his 3 wood, and the extra loft get the ball airborn a lot easier. He hits it about 165 yds. Good looking club.

I've been looking to replace my Super Concord for awhile. It is a great club but I am only good for about 210 with it. I matched the Caiman w/ a True Temper EI-70II in "S" flex. Great Combo. I am sold on this club after 4 rounds. I've bombed a few at 225 and 1 at 240. This might be the club that helps me reach a par 5 in 2.

The Caiman FW heads are rapidly becoming one of my favorites.

I built the Caiman 3W with an Aldila ONE 65g/X Mid-launch.

Very smooth feel through contact with a nice consistent ball flight even when struck off-center.

Good results off the tee or turf.

I used to play the super concord (Adams Tight Lies) fairway woods, and was at one time happy with them. These are so much better.

Comments about Hireko M1005:Power Play Caiman Fairway Wood - Clubhead:

I built a Caiman Power Play 3-wood 16 degree and matched it with a Rapport Advent shaft and a Winn grip. This club looks good at address but for the price [$] which is several dollars more than I normally pay for a fairway wood head....I found it to be an average club at best. Meaning....I guess I expected more out of it based on the price. If I do recommend this club to a friend I'd tell them this is a good club...but certainly nothing special.

It's just what it's advertised to be...a great fairway wood. At times, it's as long as my 16 degree. Stable and best for hitting straight, vice working a draw or fade. Great off the tee too. Very nice setup and alignment and a nice unique design at a great price.

Played club for the 1st time and after one round I'm a believer. Very crisp and accurate off the clubface. Hit the 19 degree from the fairway 5 times. 4 of them went dead straight and over 200 yards. The 5th was on me, bad swing! Didn't hit out of the rought but the sole seems like it would cut through well. I plan on buying the 16 degree but wish these came in a strong 3! Hireko, you listening?
