If you ever hit a burner or a ping youll find that this club has a much softer face and when hit right it goes forever... the paint does crack in spots but it doesnt effect the club

I use my 3 wood on the fairway, for long shot making, and from the tee mound... I feel comfotable having this club in my bag aside from my hybrids... with its low launch trajectory , it fits the kind of shot that I prefer.... love it!

I have a set of these fairway woods and I don't plan on changeing. There so easy to hit with good club head feel.

This golf club was built to replace a lost ACER XDS 3 wood from about 3 years ago. My customer loved how it felt in every way, he hit it staight and long, he felt the forgivness in his missed shots. This club felt as good as his original XDS. He also liked the new look of the club.

Being a low ball hitter this 3 wd allows me to hit this club from the fairway with confidence.I use a 12 deg driver so this is a perfect match at 16 deg.

Its everything you can want in a club. Especially if you have a slight fade, which I don't have anymore. Great job Hireko..............

I have been making clubs for over 25 years and tis is the best and easiest club to sell. Its straight, long and very forgiving. If you have a slight fade you don't want to play a fade as it will go straight. Great club............

I built the 3-5-7 woods for a customer who has a very pronounced fade. He now actually has to reallign himself to aim in the middle of the fairway.

I actually bought the 16 degree fairway head and put a lightweight graffaloy blue shaft on it, and must say it's probably the best 3 wood I've had. I was on the green from 203 yards out last week. Pretty accurate club. I generally fade my 3 woods, but this is a tough club to fade or push. Be careful not to turn the clubface in too much or she'll hook too much (some hook is good!). I'm thinking about buying the Driver or Thriver head also.

Many years ago I tried playing with a 7 wood -- had ok results but never stayed with the club. Then having read Jeffs comments in a blog about never playing with a 7 wood he didn't like -- I said what the hay and built an XDS with an Appolo Shadow graphite shaft -- results are unbelievable -- I've hit this club with accuracy and ease --I've used it off the tee,off the fairway, and have had tremendous results -- usually hitting it in the 190 - 200 yrd range try it you'll like it -- no you'll love it. And thank you Jeff

I built this with a Dynacraft Super Collider shaft, R-flex. This club is very easy to hit from tight lies. The only negative is that I tend to miss my shots to the left which is likely due to the closed face. Trajectory is not too high, considering the slightly higher loft and low profile design.

I put together the 3 and 5 fairway heads. I tend to fade my woods. These I can hit straight. I'm 66, and don't have the swing speed I used to have. I used two different shafts I had around. Basicly both were low torque, R flex. I'am very happy with the results. I'am a 19 handicap.
