I decided to build this as a long 3 wood. I selected a Blue Crush shaft, trimmed to a strong R, length of 46.5".
Off the fairway, this club powers through even fat shots. Off the tee, it is an amazing mini-driver.
The feel of this head is superb, as though I am crushing the ball.

I shafted this head (3 wood) with a Cadence Pro 85, stiff flex. My first thoughts were "Wow! This thing hits it a mile!". Then, I tried it off the deck, and I was quite disappointed. I had a hard time getting good height on shots from the fairway. I'm a pretty good fairway wood player, when I find the right club. I like my fairway woods to have a rounded sole so that there is less contact with the turf, and this club has a very flat sole. So, it doesn't do the job for me. Now if I wanted a 3 wood for tee shots only, it would stay in the bag, because it's awesome off the tee. I was hitting it about 285 yards with a nice draw. But, I only carry one fairway wood, so it has to be versatile. Maybe I'm just too picky, because obviously some people love this club, but it doesn't work for me. I'm sticking with my Callaway S2H2 4 wood until I find something better. The search continues... Maybe I'll try the Caiman.

this club is pretty good . problem is you must align club up to right side of green when using . has a square face setup. have used this club for 10 rounds and for 10 rounds have consistently hit bal to left of green . i dont hit a draw . actually play a fade . club set up would be great for a person who slices or hits big fade .the set up will fool you . used 2 different shafts in it and still hits the same . not my kind of club but would be good forintermediate golfer .

Compliments the Q2 driver perfectly. I have built three sets (3 and 5) of this wood with flexes from R though X for players of very different abilities. All have reported back with enthusiasm over the performance of this wood.

The 3 wood is easy to get airborne, average distance but that could be the shaft(speeder x) Very accurate off the tee once I got used to looking at it and lining it up. Will be my " go to " club on tight par 4's and 5's. Nice Price.

Assembled with UST ProForce 65 shafts to match the Q2 driver. Consistently straight and long. 3W 200+ from an older senior. The 3 club set has put new confidence in my game.

Bought these heads to get a matching set with the driver. I put Apollo Shadow shafts in them. Long and straight they go. Not longer than my jackarooII's but with a more solid feel. These just might (finally) put the JackarooII's to rest.
