This new compound has a firm feel yet it stays tacky feeling with occasional cleaning with soap and water. The lower end of the grip is a little larger than other grips (it does not taper at the bottom) which gives the golfer more control for the types of shots where you have to grip down on the club, especially for those half wedge shots.
