Black textured only has a rough pattern. I was expecting a coarse texture in the grip but they can't compare to the Golf Prides. The pattern is very attractive but that's all the grip has going for them. I purchased the jumbo size and is the thickness I was wanting. The grips are able to be turned down if wanted and still have the same pattern.

A good feeling grip with lots of traction, easy to install. Big problem is that gripping fluid makes the black color run all over the grip. Fix that and it's a good grip for the price

Contrary to other reviews. I do not think these are anywhere near the quality of the Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compound grips. These are simply a red rubber grip, painted black in strategic places. No multi compound or cord in the grip. But for the price, they are not bad. I did not like how deep the black grooves are. OK for the money, but do not compare favorably to a $7 grip.

These grips are GREAT! I have always played with the Golf Pride Decade Multi-Compound Cord grips, but at nearly 8-bucks a grip it gets expensive (nearly 120 dollars!) to re-grip my entire set of clubs every season. These are less than 1/4 the price, and they are every bit as good!! For the price of just 3 of the Golf Pride grips, I was able to re-grip my entire set of 15 clubs! I have only played a few rounds with them so I can't speak for their durability, but I re-grip my clubs every season so I don't think durability will be an issue. And the performance is absolutely on par with the much more expensive Golf Pride model.

Exceptional value for the price. Comperable to Golf pride at less than half the price. Usabel by all levels of golfers. Great for those of us who are had on grips and change them not more than everyother season. The only thing I have against this grip is that if you are liek me and have very acidy sweat adn do not use a glove the lower protion of the grip has a tendency to wear a bit quicker then other grips. But if you clean the grips after everyother 18 hole round these will last at least 2 season or more. I live in Maryland, on the coast, where the summers are hot and very humid. As long as you keep the grips clean the will retain their tackyness adn you will have no problems. Love the color selection.

Great grips for irons. The club does not twist with these.
