The price of golf grips has always made me want to start a competing business that sells basically the same popular grips as golf pride at $1 to $2 each. When you think about it a person is playing $3+ a grip for an item that is 60 grams of rubber or less, that requires very little research and development, with a shelf life of YEARS, that is barely (if at all) regulated. That $40+ for 780 grams of rubber (less than 2 pounds). If car tires were priced like golf grips, they would be $600+ each and they require a great deal of safety regulations... Enter Karma who finally realized they could "copy" popular grip models and still make a 100%+ profit by severely undercutting the competition. You aren't doing anyone any favors by buying golf pride anyway because all grips are made it China so you might as well get the best bang for your buck. I used to put Golf Pride tour velvet grips on my sticks each year to the tune of $40. I saw these and had to try them last year. Tack is basically the same. Durability is basically the same. These are a little more difficult to get on so swish the grip solvent in the grip for 20 more seconds, pour/spray a little more on the grip tape and it will go smooth. Karma logo is painted with cheaper paint and it will smear if solvent hits, it. No big deal because I put my grips on logo down. The grip design is basically the same, slightly different indentation pattern. 40 rounds later they are still going strong. If golf pride is the standard at a 10, these are easily a 9.5 or better for [$] each (as golf pride's should be). I'll replace them next week before my golf league starts because it will only cost me [$] and it feels great to have new grips and feel like you have new clubs. Bravo, Karma. Keep kicking GP's butt and maybe they'll wake up and drop their prices.

I'm not sure if the diameter was smaller and that's how they made them midsize. But they were very difficult to install. I never had this much trouble installing a grip, and I've been installing grips for years and install a new set each year for myself and my son. Once they're on, they're great...

Has been my "in stock" grip, but because the rubber starts to deteriorate rather quickly, I plan to switch to a longer lasting product.

I'll make a long story short...I've tried them all. I am a former tournament player turned once a week player and equipment hobbyist. I tried this grip on a whim because I wanted a midsize grip at a more standard weight to keep my clubs at their standard swing weight. I wasn't expecting much at under a dollar a grip. They are fantastic. Durable, good feel, great in foul weather. You will notice that they are just a bit shorter than other grips and you will learn to like it (you don't need 4 inches of grip underneath your bottom hand anyhow.) I am shocked you can still get a quality product for this price. These are now my grip of choice versus any of the major manufacturers.

There is nothing fancy about this grip, but it feels as good as similar grips that cost 3 or 4 times more. I will buy them again. The midsize is a "correct" midsize and feels just right in my hands. The weights are consistent grip-to-grip but *caution* the average weight of the set of 10 I have is 58 grams, and the spec is 55 grams. That doesn't bother me but it might bother some.

I have played Tour Velvet grips for over 10 years but decided to try the Karma velvet to see if they were good enough to have to offer in a "regrip special" in our little shop. I have found them to be every bit the equal of the Tour Velvet at about 1/4 of the price. The rubber compound is tacky and they seem to be just as durable as the Golf Pride.

I have been playing with this grip for over six months a they are clearly the best value in grips on the market. I have been putting them on clubs I build and everyone loves them.
