Grip are not tacky feeling but the stitching gives a great no slip feeling for confidence to hold the club without a death grip.

One wrap of build-up tape will make these feel very close to a mid-size grip.

I was concerned at first about the stitching on the back side of the grip, but I am happy to say that this was in no way a factor. This grip performs just as nicely as the rest of the X-Tack line, and the color was just what I was looking for. These X-Tack grips rock!
