I've played Maltby Forged Cavity Backs and Snake Eyes Cavity Backs and Blades for years but was ready for a change. A golf buddy of mine told me about Hireko Golf. I pulled up there web sight looking for a new forged iron. I ordered the Dynacraft Prophet 7 iron head to compare it to the Maltby's and Snake Eyes. To me the Prophet iron is more forgiving, easier to hit, has more of a buttery smooth feeling, and the distance is very consistent. If you are a better player looking for a high quality iron head, this is the one for you.
Purchased these after poor performance with a much higher priced forged iron. These are great heads, hitting the ball much closer to the pin on a consistent basis. Only drawback is lack of feel on where the ball is struck on the face. But I can live with that is the ball keeps finding the pins.

I like these better than any other iron I have used or tried. Installed some snake eyes ( UST )graphite shafts with Jumbo chamois grips . What great feel.
So glad I found and gave these a chance.
I have used the 1030 cavity back and tour caliber for the past 8 years or so. Always felt those would be my last irons. I hit a friends Prophet irons on the range and then a few times on the course and immediately got on the phone and ordered 3-SW. Installed on FST 115 shafts X Flex and these clubs are the finest I have ever played. My only negative is that there is not a Gap and Lob wedge available. I'd have ordered those as well. Great iron at a great price
I built them with the apollo light steel and spined them. I was playing a mizuno mx25 and built these as a traveling set. I loved them so much I [...] the mxs and built a second set. They are long, accurate and great feel.
I was still playing my CS Classics a Dynacraft forged mid-sized head from early to mid 90's. This set of Prophets are replacing them, and I am happy to report the same wonderful feel, and crisp response I hand come to love. I used Aldila Gamer shafts and couldn't be happier.
I was looking to improve my approach shots and took a chance by first purchasing the 8, 9 & PW with TX-90 shafts from another review. I liked the high approach angle which improved my GIR immediately. I completed the set of irons two weeks later.
These are the 4th iron set I have played of Dynacraft in 12 years. They are great to play and have a very good feeling and look at address. I even shot one round under par last summer.

Great feel, compact size, large sweet spot, very little offset, great looking and easily adjusted to your swing
Great feel and accuracy. These clubs restored the distance lost by "big name" clubs.
Beautifully made heads, looks as good as it plays with the simple black and silver colour scheme, a real winner. I made a set of these with TT DG 75 shafts, very long, very forgiving, but with a lot of feel. Very confidence inspiring, I like the minimal offset, it really makes me feel like I'm getting behind the ball. These are the best that I've tried or made so far. One day they might stop selling them, so buy a lot of them!
Great set of irons. Paired it with Rifle S3 shafts, which is great for anyone who prefers a heavier feeling set. Only change I would have liked is a little less offset.
Good feeling and easy to use. Slightly off center hit is still O.K. I am replacing my Mizuno forged irons and feel the new sets is easier to use. Great combination with Tour Trac 80 graphite shaft.Valued for money. Glad to get the new sets with affordable price.

Have been playing these for about a month and at least 8 rounds. My conclusion is that these irons simply need more exposure to the golfing public. The forgiveness is exceptional. The fact that they are forged and extremely affordable makes them an unbelievable value. I shafted 4 through pw with TT Black golds and could not be happier. You can easily work the ball left or right.
Knockdowns are no problem. While they are perhaps slightly less soft feeling than much more expensive oem forged offerings, they are more than agreeable. The top line is probably a bit thick for purists but quite welcome for people wanting a forged club with significant forgiveness.
The head size is particularly good as it is not too big. Probably between normal and mid-sized.
I have not measured the offset but do not believe the catalog listings are correct. I believe they are overstated. The offset is modest and useful.
These are great feeling clubs! I had a 7i made with Lamkin Crossline Midsize and Apollo Stepless shaft. Nice soft feel, minimal vibration. Would definitley complete the set.

Professionals play forged irons, and now, at this price you can too. Pros always play forged clubs: if you want to improve, get the right equipment. GREAT FEEL - solid, no vibration, feel ball compress with no sacrifice in distance. Built these with True Temper TX 90 shafts - high ball flight. Great looks, great feel; these are game improvers.

Really great forged cavity back irons. I really like the feel of forged clubs but want to score my best and cavity backs help. I am replacing my callaway x14 with these and never looking back. Used true temper sl shafts great combo. These heads have a nice crisp forged feel that I want in an iron not the clunky too soft feel of the older forged cavity backs. If you can't tell already I am really glad I found these irons. Thanks Hireko. 11 hndicp
