When I purchased these heads I was playing an older set of Hogan FTX which I loved. My intention was to put together a set for travel and/or working on swing changes. Initially it had put Apollo Standard Stepless Steels in this set but I was not happy with the ball flight. Longer distance yes...but the not the penetrating flight I wanted.

I reshafted these with TTDG S300, and the flight came down as I had expected with minimal loss of distance. The feel as you would expect is soft, though not as soft as a Hogan or Mizuno. However, you can tell when you catch one out on the toe, but you don't lose much distance. What I look for in an iron is the ability to work the ball both up and down, and right to left. I want that butter feel when you strike it pure, and I want to know when I've missed the sweet spot...and where. In short these irons deliver on all accounts, and I will be building another set soon with FST shafts soon. By the way, when I checked the heads upon arrival, all were spot on for loft, lie and weight. I didn't need to bend them so I can't speak to the ease or difficulty of that particular aspect as mentioned by previous reviewers.

Have been playing Dynacraft forged irons for years and these are by far the best looking irons I've ever made. Everyone that sees them states something similar! Exceptional feel but not easily bent for loft/lie customization. Metal composet bends like a cast club and will leave surface cracks in hosel.

i am also a clubmaker and matched these heads with the new apollo ivory steel shafts and lamkin mid classic wrap with the white stripe.They are really exotic looking. I did not want to hit them as to mark them up, but hit them i did. These irons are accurate,have a buttery feel off the face and are very forgiving for a players iron. Picked up 12 yds per club. Best irons i have ever had and i have played them all! Most men think component heads are inferior but in most cases they are equal or superior to anything else. Get on the bandwagon and get these heads!

I have never had bad luck with irons from Hireko in the past. I think they have some of the greatest designs and performing irons for the money hands down. But the Prophet Tour's are a huge dissapointment. I will say that these truly are a beautiful iron. But after looks it ends there. The construction for such a high priced forged iron is of poor quality. The polished chrome is very eye appealing but as soon as you make a bend the chrome will crack and leave a very unsightly cosmetic blemish. I bent 2 degrees upright and the chrome cracked completely arond the circumference of the seated shaft. You expect a little marring with a bend but not cracks. They certainly don't bend like a forged iron something you would expect with 1021 carbon steel. You expect butter when you bend forged and these certainly aren't butter. They are without question the hardest forged iron I have ever bent, equally if not harder than any cast iron. The feel is OK on center hits but again nothing that would indicate a soft forged iron head. The Acer XDS React have a much better feel than these and are a 1/3 of the cost.

Got my CNC irons, went out to my local club and banged out a 73...2 over. The feel is simply like hitting butter. When they first arrived, I was afraid to hit them because they are so sweet looking. Construction is durable also, no major scuffs. I am going to enjoy this set for a long time.

My customer could not believe the sound and feel. I reduced the loft slightly and he was hitting farther w/o any loss of accuracy. The big thing for him was the pure feel and explosive reaction of ball coming off the face at impact. He is recommending this club and my shop to is golfing buddies.

I intended to replace my well worn 7 thru PW Prophet forged heads with the same heads, but held off on ordering when I saw the announcement for the new forged Prophet Tour heads. The feel is very soft with nice feedback. I also like the clean, simplistic design. The re-design with the shorter hosel and the push of more metal into the bottom of the club allows for a little more forgiveness on toe hits. The professional club maker I use was also very positive about the new heads. These are great iron heads.
