The Acer XK model is easy to hit and pleasing to look at. Good quality and will play as well or better than the big name's shelf models. They bent it -2 for me and did a great job. Make sure you put a good shaft in it. I have been playing golf for 40 years and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I have made many clubs and played many OEM clubs in the past 30 years. If you must have the latest and greatest OEM clubs you won't be reading this and probably aren't interested in club construction but if you would like 99% of the performance at 33% of the price these clubs will not disappoint. I put together a 3-PW set with apollo stepless shafts and Karma velvet grips and red ferrules bent 1 degree flat. They produce a high ball flight and are easy to hit. Not very workable but with the offset can't expect this. Great clubs at a factastic price/performance point. Spend your money on lessons not OEM advertising and ego and enjoy the game.

Bought a 7 iron head and Apollo Standard steel shaft. This was the very first club I built and have to say I'm very happy with it. Performs better than my name brand irons and feels just as good. I've since built a 5-PW and that's what will be in my bag. Very good performing irons for the money.

I have Hogan CFT irons, Wilson Staff CI 7 irons, and Wilson Deep Red Irons. The XK Irons play better than any of these. A soft sweet feel at impact, better distance, more forgiveness, and improved accuracy are among the qualities that make these a superior product. Combining with the Apollo 75 gram steel shafts creates a feel of the club head that enables the golfer to stay in the "groove."

Built a sand wedge using this iron and a True Temper TT Lite XL shaft. I like this sand wedge better than any of the multiple ones I've used in the past. Will definitely build a whole set of XK irons.

I built a complete set of Acer clubs for a cust who hadn't played in 14 yrs. His comments were..."Awesome, great look and feel, can't believe the price". I built the 4 and 5 with Apollo Std. Stepless shafts with white Tacki-Mac Itomic grips. I MOI-matched the irons... so far, so good. I like the feel off these two, I can poke it out there consistently with a nice draw.

I haven't seen reviews by women but after consulting Jeff Summitt, I decided to give this head a try. As a senior woman, I wanted to get back some of the distance I have lost and found the "Acer XK " with an A flex shaft has done the job! It gives great distance and trajectory. I am now anxious to get the rest of the iron set and for the golf season to begin.

I built a 5-PW Set. They feel OK and perform as I expected. My only concern is the sole thickness. They are thinner than iron sets I owned in the past. But once you hit it, they went as far as the other irons. Best part, Hireko got unbeatable price!

I have always been a non offset player with my irons. These surprised me with the extra offset. Not distracting at all. The fun is back! Built these with the old standard TT lite shaft and stingfree grips. Feel great.

Great feeling club. Hits great, far and accurate. Looked great until I played with them a couple times. The finish is not durable and scrapes and scratches easily.

The XK iron head was impressive. I built them using the Acer X-Class graphite shafts. The y have good feel, launch well, and even one of the course pro's said they are a good Callaway clone. The topline seemed a bit thick for my taste, but it didn't hinder the way the iron performed. If someone is looking for a good iron without breaking the bank, look no further.
