Was playing Maltby Forged MTF which is one of the best ever designed in my opinion. Did not think that this head would come close to the feel of forged but I was wrong. Certainly not exactly the same but these heads do have a great feel to them. Coupled them with Apollo 85 shafts tipped stiff and these play great. The trajectory is not too high and they can be worked. Only negative is the top line which I notice. Wish it were thinner but after hitting them that top line is becoming less of an issue. Maltby's will soon be on [...] as these are in my bag to stay. I'm testing the XF woods now and will report on them after a fair trial. Initial reaction is not very positive.

I paired these heads with the FST Pro 115 shafts and have been very pleased. Very Solid feeling and I feel very confident with these irons. I paired these with 3 and 4 XF hybrids w/Aldila VX Shafts and its the best set i've ever had.

I purchased these heads as a reluctant test to replace a forged cavity from a prominent Texas component company. I did not think there was anything better than what I was playing so I researched and decided to try them out.
They look great at address and wow they feel great with great distance. I combined them with a FST Steel 115 that was in the forged heads prior to purchasing the Acer's. These heads have to be the best value in the industry.

this is the first time i've played any acer product and i was pleasantly suprised. these irons have plenty of forgivness, and a nice apperance at address, i bought the 3 and 4, and paired them with tt lite shafts, nice high launch, but not a ballooning ball fligh. good product, the only reason for a 4 rating is i dont know about the durability, but i belive they will hold up well.

These clubs have great feel,distance, accuracy and trajectory. What's left!
Shafted with Apollo Acculite 85's and simply the best clubs I have hit. No more searching for the Holy Grail!!!!!

I bought these just to try the 2011 upgraded ACER series. I did not expect much but I was wrong. I paired these irons (6-SW) with the new Apollo RED STEEL shaft and Tacki Mac wrap grip. I did tip trim the shafts 1/2" longer than suggested and it proved to a good guess. The tip is softer and flex is between A and R. The ball flight is high and the workability is not to be believed. The ball stops very quickly. Hireko has done it again! I have ordered the Leggera driver and all 5 XF hybrids. Thank you for making a first class AFFORDABLE product!
