Titanium was selected for two reasons. First it provides a responsive striking zone to increase ball speed and distance. Secondly it allows for an extraordinary source of weight savings that can used to create unparalleled forgiveness for laser-like accuracy.
If you don’t think there is some weight in the face to be saved, you would be wrong. Simply substituting titanium where the stainless steel face resided, we shed 45% or a total of 25g of weight from the face.
All this weight was then put to much better use by placing it in the toe (position A in the diagram) and in the sole (position B) to help stabilize the head more so on off-center shot.
Now image your same old swing rejuvenated by producing greater distance with no additional effort, in addition to creating a higher ball flight, more spin to hold the greens and with pinpoint accuracy. You can have it all with the Acer XK Ti-Ceptional irons.

I married this head with a graffoly ultralite graphite shaft that was pured. Love the feel and weight. This is a real easy to hit club. Off center hits still produce a good flight but shorter of course. Beginners will love the instance positive feedback.

I made these irons, six thru PW for a fellow golfer. He is one to two clubs longer than his old Cleveland sticks. He loves them!

The ball screams off the face of these clubs. The club head is well balanced and the sound at impact is excellent.

Bought this as a trial replacement for my Maltby KE-4's. Installed on an old Prologic graphite 6-Iron Shaft. Very nice feel and distance. The only con is the high price for a component head.

I broke a shaft in an Acer XK 9-iron through my own fault and needed to replace this quickly to use and did not have time to work on the removal of the broken shaft end. Fortunately I live near Hireko and popped in and bought the Ti-Ceptional head as a trial. I fitted it with the same shaft (Sk Fiber Tour Trac 80) as before. The ball seems to fly off the club and this iron has quickly become my favorite. I am trying to persuade myself to build the rest of the replacements!

I matched these heads with SK Fiber Trac 80 shafts. Built a set from 4-p. Absolutely love them. Great distance and accuracy. Learning to slow down my swing to maximize distance and accuracy.

I bought these heads because, at my age, I was losing distance with my irons. I shafted them with shafts I pulled from my off the rack Irons.
The feel was great and accuracy and distance improved. Now reaching greens with one club less than before. The ball flies off the Titanium face.
I have gone from a handicap of 17 to an 11 this season.

The specs indicate that this head is 84 mm. I measured it from the inside of the hosel (where a ball could make contact) to the furthest edge of the face, 4 grooves up, and it was 74 mm
If you believe you are buying oversized heads, these are not what you are looking for.
The head is attractive - in short, it really does look great.
I like Hireko as a Company, I'm disappointed that the specs for this item
are not accurate. I have not yet assembled the club. I'm just disappointed with the specs.

Paired with regular-flex IROD transition shafts, my set of 6 through sand wedge Ti- Ceptional irons allowed me to regain 8-12 yards of distance previously lost due to my 66+ years of age. I now again hit my 7 iron about 150 yards, and control throughout the set is excellent. Feel at impact is great, even on slight miss-hits. Solid hits explode off the clubface. Too bad the heads are not offered in gap and lob lofts.

I waited a long time for these heads and just finished them 3 days ago so I have only hit them on the range. There may be too much offset because I am hooking them more than usual.But as I play with them I will write again.

I paired a 7 iron head with a Rifle graphite stiff shaft as a demo club and replaced the 7 from my usual set with it. After 6 rounds of golf and range practice, I am happy to report that this club is consistently long and forgiving, with great feel. For my game, I would prefer a little less offset as I fight a hook in the best of circumstances and less offset sets up better to my eye. That one personal negative notwithstanding, these clubs are perfect. So much so that I will be building a full set for myself in spite of the offset.

What a pleasant surprise!! I wasn't sure about the Acer brand but after a few rounds with these irons I find them just as good as the name brands at a much better price and the quality is outstanding.
