Acer CB2 Putter with Free Headcover - Clubhead:The most advanced putter made for the component market! The two-piece construction first combines a lightweight precision milled aluminum face and center section for a soft feel and the ability to distribute weight to the outer perimeter of the head. A stainless steel outer ring, which accounts for well over half of the total weight of the putter, provides an incredibly high moment of inertia for more accurate putts and imparts a truer roll to the ball on the green. The CB-2 is center-shafted for easy alignment and requires a standard .370" putter shaft.

I have made over 20 of the Acer CB2 putters in chest lengths for my customers. This takes some special shaft bending to get the proper lie angle of 80* but the head weight is adequate. Results have been mostly very positive with many referrals.

Pretty good head. Not the best.

I had to custom bend the shaft to get a comfortable set up. If I do another one, I will use an offset transition.

So far I have let about a dozen people try it out and no one was impressed enough to inquire about buying one.

I have found it to be pretty accurate on long lags, if you just let the putter do its job. It does have a smooth feel.

On the upside, the great folks at Hireko replaced the first head without question.

Great-Smooth Rolling-Gunslinger

I have used a long putter for more than 10 years and am a true beiever. I was told that this putter was not made to be a long putter, but with its heavy weight I figured what the heck. I built it with a true temper long steel shaft, cut it to 47" and put on a 24" crystal clear(tm) one peice grip. What a great putter, smooth and gunslinger straight.
