I built the CB3 with the long putter adapter and the 53" Apollo putter shaft. I cut it to a finished length of 48". Capped it off with the Karma 2 piece grip.At first it just looked way too different and I could not stand to look at it. Well, off to [...] and I purchased a can of primer and White appliance paint... Ghosted it. Took it to the course and WOW what a fantastic putter.Easy to align is an understatement, it really is point and shoot. Now all I have to worry about is pace. Hireko should really offer this putter head in a white finish. It really makes the putter.

Built it as a 46" long putter with about an ounce of lead down the shaft. What a fantastic putter! Short putts are so much less nerve racking than before. I used one of the broomstick putter adapters and it made the job super easy.

The head weighs 405g as shipped. That's heavy enough to call for some counterbalance under the grip. I used about 110g. I really like the result. I am making more 5-10ft putts now, and lagging almost everything close. Since my second round with the CB3, the ONLY reason for a second putt over 2ft has been misreads of line or speed; the ball goes where I aim the putt with remarkable reliability.
Here are a few points I want to compliment on this putter head:
(1) The feel is nice and smooth, neutral. It has a nice little "ping" sound at impact.
(2) The long central spine is a wonderful aiming device. I am much more confident in the line because of it.
(3) Unlike most deep, weighted-corner, high-MOI putter heads, this one lets you scoop the ball as you would with a cavity-back "blade" putter. (But you use the side as a scoop, not the back.)
Bottom line: it has replaced my favorite putter of long standing, at least for the last 8 rounds. In fact, I lent my old favorite putter to a friend during last week's long outing and never missed it.

I recently bought a CB3 putter head. I experimented by adding tungsten powder mixed with epoxy into the cavities in rear wings to bring the weight to about 400 grams. I also added 250 grams of lead in the shaft under the grip. After a few practice sessions,the results are fantastic . I would recommend this set-up to anyone. I think you would be pleasantly suprized.
