I used this shaft to build a driver for my 10 year old son and he hits it great. Used a 12* Titleist Howetzer(old school titanium) ,bought the driver along with several other newer clubs at a pawn shop, with a Karma Junior Black Velvet grip, trimmed according to chart. There is plenty of flex and the ball launches high when my puts a good swing on it. The shaft is lite, flexable and cheap a very good combination for most juniors.

I used one of these to build an Avatar Jr. 3-wood for my 3-year-old son, with little initial success, due to the poor guidance as far as the trimming chart, and static length chart. Common sense applies when tip trimming. If you are building a very short final length club, extra length must be removed from the tip section to allow for ample butt length to remain for proper grip sizing.

Purchased to put some irons together for my son, very nice, the feel is great, should be hitting them today for the first time... he is only 7, and I made them slightly longer, also with ladies heads ( he is left-handed)
