I replaced all of my senior flex graphite shafts in my irons with the True Temper Multi-Step Lite Steel. I was seeking improved distance and accuracy and boy did I ever get both. The improvement is obvious in both areas with at least 10 yards in distance. Best of all, I still have the feeling of a light weight graphite shaft.

I've built several sets of custom clubs using the TT Multi Step iron shafts - have not had ONE complaint. Customers see more height and distance in their shots and they love the feel!

When I built my iron set I bought two extra 5 iron heads and 6 different steel shafts whose catalog descriptions matched what I needed for A flex.
I built all combinations of shafts with the heads and tested them on the driving range. The Multi-Step Lite shaft gave me the highest trajectory. I wanted my five iron to launch as high as possible. The trajectory on the higher irons doesn't send the ball too high.
Multi-Step for me worked better than much higher priced shafts and I have been a happy golfer with my set of irons for 5 years.
