I was wondering at first why TT launched this shaft which is very similar to TT Dynalite Gold SL. Some replies said this shaft hase speedsteps hence comes the graphite like dampening ability and more importantly, it has the constant weight set in parallel tip as well! I had good success before with TT Dynalite Gold SL R300 taper tip and I thought I'll give this a try if it really feels less harsh. I ordered a set from 5 to PW. First of all, when I did weight sort, I was disappointed with the #5, 40" shaft it about 4g heavier than the rest which is very unusual for TT's "Gold" standard. when I do the frequency sort, the #5 shaft also about a full flex stiffer than the rest of the set. However, I installed them in my Prophet Mill Cavities. I played with them for few rounds now and the feeling as they call it "dampening" is actually a dead feeling. The shafts feel boarded and dead and harsh. I don't feel the smoothness I expected (I tried the graphite shaft so I know how the dampening feel). The tip is a bit whippy so I spray the balls all over the place, but strange enough, I don't feel the responsiveness of the tips like Dynalite Gold SL! I am going to reshaft the set with Apollo Acculite 95. Take this as an exprementation... I failed before with TX90, another speed stepped shaft from TT. This is the second time. I guess I will not go with another speedstepped shaft from TT anymore. I was attracted to this shaft with the constant weight parallel tip option but obviously, it's not worth it. This shaft is way over-priced for what it worth

This shaft tends to product faster club head speed because the overall weight of the club is less. Lovers of light clubs will really appreciate this shaft in any head. Dr. J
