Comments about Hireko UPJX:Project X Graphite:

This is an excellent driver/fairway wood shaft for those who have enthusiast level swing speeds and need that extra control over intended results. I played the 6.5 retail version that is sold here, I loved it so much I was fitted for the 73 gram Tour Issue version 7B3 X-Flex which I currently game and payed righteously for it. This is the level of quality you need if you want to truly dial in your swing with a consistent non-ovaling bend swing after swing. The Project X wood shaft truly is genius. If you are currently driving the ball over 270 yards with a stock retail shaft then you will immediately gain distance simply with the lower ball trajectory this shaft is designed for. The benefits of the carbon fiber technology will aid in distance and accuracy even more so. I've noticed the designed tip section will reduce spin on unwanted misses and aid in preferred ball flight on pured contact as well.

Last year I was carrying the ball 260 yards with a very high flight using a cheapo Nike branded shaft. After switching to the PX 6.5 my spin dropped by 800RPM, lowered the flight to 60+/- yards high, and am now averaging 283 yard carry that rolls up 300 yards depending on course conditions. last but not least my misses off the tee are not so extreme anymore. When I miss the ball cuts hard right and now at worst it is simply a soft fade that can be saved easily. I am considering the Project X Flighted offering for my irons but I love my Dynamic Golds for now.

For the record, I will never play another shaft in my driver and woods for as long as I live.
