I went with the UST Competition 65 for a Power Play Q2 Driver, 5-Wood and 4-Hybrid. I wasn't quite comfortable with the Acer and Power Play offerings just yet, but didn't want to spend a ton on a shaft either. The Comp 65 gives a nice mid-high ball flight without balooning. It feels very similar to the Pro Force ATR but at a much lower price. The black/red color combo matches well with many of Hireko's current offerings, especially the Power Play line. In the future I may try the Acer and Power Play shafts, but for someone looking for a budget mid-high launch shaft from a major brand name, the UST Competition 65 is a great choice.

The shafts give the senior the edge. You just have to meet the ball.

Great shaft, nice paint and clearcoat. a bit whippier than my proforce v2 but probably more effective for my 90mph clubhead speed.
