Comments about Hireko VX:Aldila VX Graphite:
Gave these a try with the inexpensive price point. Tried them in a 3 and 5 wood for a set of snowbird clubs to take south.
Very inconsistent results. I also purchased the Hybrid version with much better results (I would recommend these, by the way, as an inexpensive and reasonable quality shaft).
Torque on the wood version is 5.5 degrees (vs. 2.8 on the Hybrid) which I overlooked/missed when I purchased them. I pulled the VX's from the fairway woods and installed Aldila NVS 65's with much better results.

If you are looking for a heavy shaft for driver, FW or hybrid, this is a great option. nice looks and consistent feel, I have used many of these shafts in clubs I built and was always satisfied. Mid to high handicaps need to look no further
